NGOs working for social development in Pune city. Above 80 to 100 organizations

registered with this NGO centre. Our project partner is Tech Mahindra Foundation, a

corporate promoted organization with development vision.

different sectors and accordingly design the demand responsive short courses for the

practitioners.

To design and develop the training module for the NGO’s professional and Para

Professional team

To conduct a series of training programs as per the identified training needs

To provide a platform for the NGO’s to interact, share, analyse their experiences in

the field

To design and conduct various short term courses which cater to the needs of NGO’s

Networking and resource mobilization events

To develop a support resource centre where relevant data base will be made available

to NGO’s to refer for planning strategies

Policy analysis and national, state local level budget analysis documents would be

made available for advocacy for the rights of marginalized groups

To provide research support for enhancing projects and schemes of NGO’s

Provide consultation for young professionals who wish to develop innovative projects in the

Tech Mahindra Scholarship Programme for MSW students 2013-2014

Financial Assistance Programme

In August 2013, NGO Resource Center and Student Development Programme of Karve

Institute of Social Service supported by Tech Mahindra Foundation was launched.

Students from economically weaker section and those who could not bear tuition fees,

completion. Tech. Mahindra has decided to support this cause and offer financial help to

these needy students. Tech Mahindra Foundation substantially contributed a corpus.

Page 25: The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQACkarve-institute.org/images/pdf/AQAR-2013-14.pdf · The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQAC ... MSW (I + II) 109
