Throughout its history The Andalusian, also known as the Pure Spanish Horse, has been prized by nobility and recognised for its prowess as a warhorse.
Elegant, intelligent, sensitive and strongly built, The Andalusian is noted for it’s athleticism and stamina and were originally used for classical dressage, driving, bullfighting and as stock horses.
Modern Andalusians are now used for many equestrian activities, including dressage, show jumping and driving.
The Andalusian is also featured extensively in movies, making appearances in Gladiator, Braveheart and The Lord of The Rings film trilogy.
