Climate

• The climate in Greece is affected by the geographical features that are in the country. The mountains and the oceans affect the climate.

• For the most part, the country has a mild winters and hot, dry summers.

• Snow can fall in the mountainous regions and the winter is the wettest time of the year.

• Many of the ancient Greeks made a living from the sea.

• Many people were fishers, sailors and traders.
