Walking Track Crew WantedSummer 2014/2015Mt Hotham Alpine Resort Management are seeking to engage an enthusiastic, fit, team playing person to join their track crew.
The track crew is key to the establishment and maintenance of Mt Hotham’s summer walking and winter cross country trail network.
The applicant will have to provide:
• A high level of visitor experience and safety, high standards of maintenance and construction expected. Significant flora, fauna and cultural heritage values require most tasks to be performed under strict guidelines. All our staff are expected to be multi skilled and flexible in their job applications.
• Daily work may involve: brush cutting, tractor slashing, chain sawing (crosscut and felling), manual labour (mattock and shovel work) spraying, drainage works, construction (boardwalks, shelters, etc).
Tickets in the following will be an advantage:Construction Induction, Chainsaw (crosscut /felling), agricultural chemical users permit, first aid.
