Who is Dr. George King?Dr. George King was a spiritual teacher, and also a channel for teachings given through him by intelligences from other planets. He was a Master of Yoga and one of the greatest trance mediums the world has ever seen. The path he gave to Earth is now called – King Yoga.

By practising King Yoga, you will gain a personal spiritual connection with this great Master. His power still exists, even though he is no longer physically among us. You can access this power – and your life will change.

Born in 1919 in Shropshire, England, he demonstrated an interest in religion and spirituality at an early age, and in his mid-twenties he decided to devote his life to the practice of yoga. Yoga was not popular in the West in the 1950s like it is today – and to make such a decision was unusual to say the least!

He practised an average of 8-10 hours a day for a decade, while living in London, with a full-time job. This yoga training resulted in him gaining full control over the mystical power that exists within us all, known as Kundalini.

even of relaxation. Yoga, in its highest sense, is a way to attain enlightenment. Enlightenment is not a vague, wishy-washy state of peace, but the intense realization that “God is all”. Its achievement is as rare as it is great.

In 1954, Dr. King was told by an extraterrestrial intelligence that he was to become the voice of “Interplanetary Parliament”. He had no understanding of what this meant, at that time. Later it emerged that he was to channel highly elevated beings from other worlds.

Fearless and uncompromising, Dr. King would then share and apply the wisdom he received wherever he could – despite ridicule, disbelief or even threats of violence. These teachings have been scrupulously recorded so you now have the opportunity to let them change your life – just as they have changed the lives of thousands of others.

In 1955 he founded The Aetherius Society – named after a being from another planet. The Aetherius Society is the organization that practises King Yoga.

The axis around which Dr. King’s life revolved was unconditional surrender to God, and his countless books and lectures are a testament to this. But these are just one small part of his life’s work. He was not a theorist; he always put spirituality into practical action to help others. Practicality was in fact the hallmark of his whole approach – along with direct, simple, plain-speaking; a world away from the overly complex or sickly-sweet teachings that certain others have propounded in recent decades.

He passed away in 1997 – leaving behind the great legacy of King Yoga.

Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning “union”, implying “union with God”. God is not a whimsical, vengeful or sentimental old man on a cloud. God is the universal Divine Essence and Creator, far above any kind of human personality.

King Yoga is the path given by and through Dr. George King, and practised by The Aetherius Society.

What is King Yoga?King Yoga is a spiritual path that can take

you to enlightenment and beyond. It is also the most powerful way you can help to change the world for the better.

It is not a system of keeping fit or relaxing, though these do also form

a small part of this path. Rather, it is a way of improving karma and raising

consciousness – on an individual and global level.

King Yoga is threefold: service to others, spiritual teachings and self-development.

Service to others is the greatest yoga of all; the greatest religion; and the greatest thing any of us can do.

By serving others you will change your karma, which will enable you to advance towards enlightenment. The service offered by the path of King Yoga is the greatest on Earth because it involves working directly with beings from other planets – who have power and technology vastly superior to anything on Earth.

The spiritual teachings given by and through Dr. George King are the most profound, and yet most practical, that you will find. These teachings were given by some of the greatest Masters who have ever contacted mankind upon Earth.

You can experience this wisdom for yourself, by examining it in the light of your own intuition, experience and logic – with an open mind and a truth-seeking heart.

The spiritual practices taught by Dr. George King are extremely powerful, but also safe and very balanced. The Aetherius TempleThe Aetherius Temple is a unique,

beautifully-designed place of worship in Fulham, South West London, dedicated to the spiritual ideals of peace, freedom and enlightenment.

Lovingly renovated over a period of several years, the vast majority of the

work was carried out by King Yogis, many of whom donated hundreds of

hours of time completely free of charge – motivated purely by the desire to be of selfless

service to others. This has helped to ensure that the subtle vibrations of the building itself are

conducive to enhancing spiritual awareness.

As well as being the venue for the King Yoga Experience, workshops and seminars, the Temple also serves as the venue for free spiritual healing, Divine services, commemorations of holy events, and Operation Prayer Power. These are some of the most sacred practices taking place anywhere on Earth – imbuing the Temple with an energy of profound inspiration.

A warm welcome to the King Yoga Programme!This year, 2019, is the centenary of the birth of Dr. George King – the great Spiritual Master who brought King Yoga to Earth. Becoming a disciple has been a most noble calling throughout the centuries. Sometimes they were in close physical proximity to their Master, such as Arjuna with Sri Krishna, Joshua with Moses, Ananda with the Lord Buddha and the twelve who followed the Master Jesus into Jerusalem. More recently, Swami Vivekananda and Paramhansa Yogananda were devotees of Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Yukteswar respectively – in their gurus’ lifetimes and, to great acclaim, afterwards. compassionate beings from beyond Earth radiate a special kind of spiritual energy to all those involved in selfless service, greatly improving the karma of the world.

COMMEMORATION SERVICES(For times and dates, please request our ecclesiastical calendar)In The Aetherius Society we mark certain important spiritual events with Commemoration Services, which generally include mystic visualisation, prayers, mantra, readings of words of wisdom – and often the playing of recordings of communications given through Dr. King in a trance state. Some commemorations may also include a video presentation, or an address given by one of our Ministers, Priests or Bishops.

FREE - Contact Spiritual HealingMost Wednesdays (Aetherius Temple)Spiritual healers offer treatments using the King Technique devised by Dr. George King, most Wednesdays, by appointment, from 10.45am to 8.45pm. Appointments last about half an hour. There is no charge for treatment, but donations towards the cost of running the Temple are greatly appreciated.

FREE - Absent HealingSpiritual energy is invoked by visualisation, prayer and mantra by our team of absent healers, and is directed to those in need who request this kind of spiritual healing from The Aetherius Society. This is ideal for people who are not able to come to the Temple for contact spiritual healing, as outlined above. Our absent healing service is free, but donations are welcome.
