THE ADITYA BIRLA PUBLIC SCHOOL, KESROL

ANNUAL REPORT (2018-19)

Dear Parents,

“The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.”

It has been two years for me here in Gujarat. In these two years I have observed, learnt and executed. My

obeisance is to the Lord Almighty as I have been blessed with a journey that was fulfilling. We at ABPS,

have always endeavoured to make the young learners believe in themselves and their capabilities to the

utmost extent and break all the barriers of achievements in every field. As we look back at them, we marvel

our learning and accomplishments in not only academics but also co-curricular and extracurricular

activities. I am privileged to apprise you of the latest developments and share the highlights of this

academic year 2018-19.

At present we are a proud family with 1464 students on roll with 58 teachers, 4 Admin staff and supporting

staff.

TINY TOTS

“An educational system is worth a great deal if it teaches how to make living and how to make a life.”

Belonging and being a part of a group is important for students of Prep and Nursery. In order to have a

cooperative classroom, children are helped to cultivate friendship, sharing, truthfulness and respectfulness.

Various activities were conducted to expose little ones to this beautiful world of knowledge. My school,

Colours Day, We care we share, Learning Etiquette, Fun games, Green Day and Seasons Day added

colours to their world. Seasons play important role in one‟s life. Students of Nursery and Prep enjoyed rain

personality of child remains incomplete without cultivating appreciation of crafts. Tiny tots were engaged

in origami. Skill exhibition was arranged wherein all the creative work was displayed to showcase their

talent.

ACHIEVEMENT

“Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and

years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of

their championship character.”

It has been widely understood that class room transaction in academic subjects alone cannot foster

development in all areas or help to develop life skills. We take care to inculcate qualities such as self

esteem, positive attitude and life skills of creative and critical thinking by involving and giving our

students various opportunities in Inter/ Intra School Competitions. The school participated in numerous

inter school /open competitions during the year and won prizes galore.

Meetings and partings are the inevitable realities of life and we cannot avoid them in spite of our best

efforts. It is the law of nature that if we meet, we must part eventually.

Mr. Rao, JP F & C and JP, HR Head Mr. Patel‟s Farewell

ABPS, Kesrol bid a warm farewell to Mr. Rao JP, HR Head and JP HR Head Mr. H.R. Patel and

presented mementoes as sign of remembrance. The school expressed heartfelt gratitude to them for their

support, cooperation and guidance.

I am extremely grateful to the team of Management, administrators and teachers for their dedication and

commitment. Most members of the staff contribute much beyond the call of duty. They carry out every task

with autonomy, accountability and efficiency. Our students give us an opportunity to do our best. Their

gratitude and affection makes our job worthier than a professional responsibility. I consider it a great

privilege to nurture our students. Due credit goes to the Parent committee as well as Management under

the dynamic and visionary of the trustee members of our school, Mr. Anil G Tiple and Mr. Gopi Krishna

Sarathi who provide us with timely guidance and inputs.

It is not important for a man to know a lot, but to know well not to care a little but to really be committed

and to have a passion. My mission in life is to thrive with some passion, compassion, some humour and

discipline. I strongly believe that ABPS has provided vast opportunities which has provided satisfaction in

the past and creates a vision for tomorrow. I am confident that the teachers will meet the added challenges

with even greater competence and confidence. I wish all the teachers immense success in all their

educational endeavours ahead.

We Dream, Dare and DO... We dream of professional learning that advances student achievement. We dare

to experience learning that will transform teaching and leadership practices and we do to the best for our

children.

“The unreal is more powerful than the real because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it

because it‟s only intangible ideas, concepts and beliefs that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots but

things fragile as a thought, a dream and a legend, can go on and on.....”
