Cast A Letter from the Editors There is no way we could produce a musical in 6 short weeks without the love, generosity, and support of our friends, family and community. We would like to extend a special thank you to: The West Hudson Arts & Theater Company - for their partnership The Angry Coffee Bean for their wonderful Addams Family event and support Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Michele Sarnoski - for their amazing last minute details Mrs. Margaret Berko - for her selfless time and love Mrs. Linda DʼIsa - for her publicity support Chris Lepore for his stage crew assistance and keeping the crew in stitches Nicko Tolentino and Liz Baatz for their painting assistance Michael Haefner for his sound design. 10 years ago, Joe and Michele produced their first musical together. That musical, Annie, included a cast of students who are now college/graduate school graduates who have begun families of their own. They were also the start of our drama family; a family that has grown to include hundreds of students from cities throughout New Jersey. Halfway through that decade, we created Teen Drama, and built a place where teenagers could display their talents, spend time with friends, and ultimately create a home-away-from- home. In those five years, we have rehearsed and performed in 4 venues, expanded to multiple locations, developed fall/winter programs, performed at community events, and produced 8 musicals. We have expanded from a single musician to multi-piece pit orchestras, developing the talents of young musicians and enriching the experience for our actors. Despite all these accomplishments, we are most proud of each individual student and the growth he/she has shown throughout his/her journey with Teen Drama. Each year our program “graduates” a group of students who bring life and personality to our organization. This year is no exception, but they know, as do all our “graduates” that they will always have a home at Teen Drama. No age or distance can take them away from our family. You are a part of our family and all of you, regardless of the length of time with us, hold a very special place in our hearts. We wish you all the best in life and have every confidence that you will be amazing in all you do. We are incredibly grateful to the amazing parents who entrust us with their children. Not only do you provide our talent, you also provide a love, support, and devotion to our program that is essential to our success. 6-week summer musicals often mean sacrifices that we cannot fathom, whether they be to your wallet, your vacation, your time, or even your sanity. We are eternally grateful for the sacrifices you make each and every day as you give your children the gift of musical theater. We thank you all for being part of another amazing year and for filling our lives with joy, laughter, and love. Honestly Sincere, Joseph Ferriero and Michele Sarnoski

Who’s Who in The Addams FamilySamantha Armenteros (Alice Beineke) has had a fantastic time bringing the character Alice Beineke to life this summer. This is her second year doing Teen Drama and she couldn't be happier. Samantha has been singing her whole life and has also been a dancer for 11 years. She would very much like to thank her family, especially her mom and dad for all of their support; to her fellow cast members she would like to say “Break a leg!” !!!James Berko (Lurch) is more than dying to play Lurch for your eyes, ears, and fears in Teen Dramaʼs production of the screamingly hilarious Addams Family Musical. This will be Jamesʼ 5th production with TD and has played roles like Sonny Malone in Xanadu, McQueen in Urinetown, and his personal favorite Inspector Hans Kemp in Young Frankenstein. Another role he has enjoyed playing was Seymour Krelbourn in KHSʼs Little Shop of Horrors. He would like to thank

Michele, Joe, Scott and Dana for everything over the past five years. James is also the lead singer and lead guitar player in the mighty rock bands Stonehenge and Blue Skeleton. His muse and passion is to bring rip roaring blues drenched greasy rockʼ n roll straight to your faces whether it be live or by recording. The world needs more plug in and play bands. DEATH TO AUTO-TUNE! Speaking on the subject of Death, please lay back in those coffins…oh sorry I mean seats…and enjoy the show! Gmrrrrr.!!

Tyler Bremner (Mal Beineke) loves to act. Heʼs be in Nutleyʼs town productions of The Kind and I, High School Musical Two (donʼt ask), A Christmas Carol, The Music Man, and All Shook Up. Performing mostly ensemble and small supportive roles, Tyler played Dennis in All Shook Up. Heʼs been in Nutleyʼs Concert Choir for three years and likes to sing but doesnʼt love it.!!!Briana Dickinson (Flight Attendant Ancestor) This is Briana's second time working with Teen Drama, although she loves to perform and has worked in many other shows. Some of her favorite credits include Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music and Sheila Bryant in A Chorus Line. Briana will be attending Caldwell University in the fall to study Physical Therapy. This show has proven to be an incredible experience and Briana can't have imagined a better way to spend her summer. “I

want to thank Michele, Joe, and Scott for their wonderful direction, the cast and crew for their dedication, and you for coming out to see us! I hope you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the show!”!!

Faith DʼIsa (Wednesday Addams) is enthused to be a part of The Addams Family as her 6th and final performance with Teen Drama. Faith has been seen as Christmas Eve (Avenue Q), Madame Thernadier (Les Mis), Sandy (Grease), Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical), and Olive Ostrovsky (25th...Spelling Bee). When not on stage in Kearny, Faith can be found in Boston, where she attends Emerson College studying Entertainment & Arts Marketing & Management, sewing, reading, and singing.

She'd like to send love to her Mom, Dad and dog Nikki, Scott and Dana for always being wonderful friends and support, Michele for keeping her "pulled" together, and Joe for helping make her the person she is today.!!

Alyssa Fink (1920ʼs Ancestor) is excited to join the cast for Adams Family. This is her second year with TD, her first in Young Frankenstein playing a villager. Alyssa has participated in the WHAT programʼs productions of SOS School and Dig It, as well as a member of the stage crew for A Christmas Carol and assistant to the director for the production of Sharks the Musical. Alyssa is an incoming freshman at Kearny High School, class of 2018. She looks forward continuing her love of acting with Teen

Drama and the Drama Club at Kearny High. Alyssa would like to thank her mother and sister for always loving and believing in her dreams and for her cousin Joe for bringing out her love of acting and laughter.!!

Jillian Fitzpatrick (Ancestor) is very excited to be in Teen Drama's production of The Addams Family as it is her first production since 8th grade. She made her theatrical debut in Roosevelt Schoolʼs Production of Disneyʼs Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Spring 2010) and gladly took on the role of a backup flower, she then took advantage of her next available musical with Lincoln Schoolʼs production of Disneyʼs Hercules (Pain, Spring 2012). She got her introduction to music in grammar

school, taking part in many school concerts, and sings in her churchʼs choir every Christmas Eve. Her favorite shows include: Phantom Of The Opera, Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, and Les Misérables. She attends Kearny High and is excited for the upcoming spring musical. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their humor and positive attitudes and her family and friends for their support.!

Lauren Gold (Chef Ancestor) is going into 8th grade and is very excited for her first show with Teen Drama. Past shows include Fiddler on the Roof, The Magical Land of Oz (The Wicked Witch of the West), and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Princess Puffer). She would like to thank everyone involved for making this such an amazing experience.!!!Melanie Hill (Cavewoman Ancestor) is in her 4th year and musical with Teen Drama and she has loved every minute of it! She has performed in Xanadu, Urinetown, Young Frankenstein, and now Addams Family. She absolutely loves her TD family; Michele and Joe always make it the best. Dana and Scott are amazing as well. Melanie has also done Hercules (Middle School) and Cats, in Kearny High. She wants to thank her parents and her whole 2nd family (The Addams) for everything.

She hopes that you will enjoy the show & every “normal” thing in it!!!Joana Marmelo (Grandma) is excited to be a part of Teen Dramaʼs hair-raising production of The Addams Family this summer. Throughout her years in theater, she normally held the position of stage manager. Last summer, however, she was given the grand opportunity to play the role as a horse in Young Frankenstein and ever since then sheʼs been hooked to being on stage. Joana was a part of Kearny Highʼs production of Cats during her senior year. This fall she will be attending

Rutgers University where she hopes to continue learning about theater through community theater groups. Joana would like to extend a huge thank you to her TD Family for always supporting her and an even bigger thank you to her parents and sister for loving her unconditionally all these years.!!

John McCullough (Uncle Fester) is going to be a Senior in Nutley High School, and has been acting in various community theater productions since third grade. His past roles include J.B. Biggley in How to Succeed in Business…,Dr. Frederick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, King Sextimus in Once Upon a Mattress, and many others. He would like to thank his friends and family for their guidance and support, along with all the people that

made this possible. He would like to honor the sacrifices that had to be made in the name of this show. Rest in peace, beard. Rest in peace.!!

Dennis Oliveira (Gomez Addams) is a student at Kearny High School entering his Junior year and was a Musical Theatre major at High Tech High school in his freshman year. This is his 3rd year with Teen Drama and his 4th performance (having been in Teen Dramaʼs productions of Urinetown and Young Frankenstein and also having taken part in their Our Broadway Workshop). He is very proud to be playing the part of Gomez Addams in this awesome production of The Addams

Family. He was most recently seen in West Hudson Arts and Theaterʼs production of The Fantasticks as El Gallo. Other Credits include; KHSʼs Cats (as Bustopher Jones and Skimbleshanks), NJSDAʼs Hairspray (as Harriman Spritzer), and HTHSʼs Willy Wonka (as Augustus Gloop). He would like to give a special thank you to his mom for supporting him in his love for acting. To everyone in the audience, if you find it necessary to use the little girls room during intermission, just remember we had one, but we let them all go.!!

Michael Oliveira (Lucas Beineke) has been performing since he was in the 6th grade when he played the paper boy in the Franklin Schoolʼs production of A Christmas Carol. This is his first show with a brand new director and team and is privileged with this lead role. In Kearny HS, he performed in Little Shop of Horrors and Once on This Island. He also played Munkustrap in the latest KHS musical, Cats, and Wally Bigelow in the senior play, Vacancy in Paradise. His love for musical theater has

grown a lot since middle school to his senior year of high school. Starting Teen Drama has helped him see that musical theatre is what he wants to do forever. His number one dream is to perform at least once on a Broadway stage and to see a grand amount of people see him do what he loves. Michael would like to thank his family for encouraging him in what he believes and Brian Toal for helping him become the performer he is today. !!

Valentina Rojas (Saloon Girl Ancestor) is extremely happy to be in this summerʼs production of The Addams Family. She absolutely adore this musical and is more than happy to be a part of the cast! The harmonies and overall choices of the Addamsʼ have left her speechless and she is sure everyone will give the audience a thrill with their amazing performances.

Alyssa Schirm (Grecian Ancestor) is going into her junior year at Queen of Peace High School. Her past shows include: Grease, Amy Goes Army, Oz! A Twisted Musical, Youʼre A Good Man Charlie Brown, The Big Bad Musical, A Chorus Line, Young Frankenstein, Cinderella, and The Sound of Music. Apart from theatre, she loves dancing and photography. She spent most of her time in the summer here at the W.H.A.T theater, teaching dance for the summer program, and of course, practicing for

The Addams Family! (*snap snap*) She wants to thank her family for the constant love, support, and wisdom.!!

Rachel Spillane (Wednesday Addams) is enthused to be back with her TD family once again. This is Rachel's second show with Teen Drama, her first being Young Frankenstein (Telegraph Person). Other previous shows include NJSDA's Hairspray! (Janet) and High Tech High School's Guys and Dolls (Ensemble). Rachel is going into her sophomore year as a musical theatre major at High Tech High School. There are "Three Things" that she would like to say to her family and friends. First, she

gives thanks to her mom and dad for always supporting her. She also thanks Faith DʼIsa, the best double a girl could ever have. Finally, she thanks everyone that made The Addams Family possible, especially Joe, Michele, Dana, and Scott. Break a leg cast and crew! Full Disclosure. xoxo!!

Abigail Anne Stokes (Puglsey Addams) is excited to be in her first Teen Drama production, though this isn't the first time she's been on the stage.  She has been acting since she was small, starting with Zuzu in It's a Wonderful Life, and more recently being a part of Cats, at Kearny High, with many more shows in between.  One of Abigail's favorite roles was Megara, in a production of Hercules at Lincoln School.  But she is sure that Pugsley will take the place of favorite role easily, since he is such

a fun character to play.  Though Abigail has also had her hand at backstage work, having helped with WHAT's production of Annie and stage-managed Steel Magnolias. Though the creepy and kooky aren't usually her forte, Abigail is thrilled to be apart of this mysterious and spooky musical.  Shoutout to all of you snapping along in the audience, enjoy the show!!!

Julia Truskolawski (Bride Ancestor) is very enthused to be making her first debut with Teen Drama in this yearʼs devilishly delightful summer production of The Addams Family. She hopes to pull the audience in a new direction as a dead ancestor of the beloved Addams family. A senior at Kearny High School, she has appeared in the ensembles of Little Shop of Horrors, Once on this Island, and Cats, in which she played the role of Victoria. She also appeared in Roosevelt Schoolʼs

6th grade production of Annie, debuting in her very first role of the orphan Pepper. Aside from being in musical productions, she has been a dancer for

5 years. She hopes to continue perusing her love for dance throughout college in New York City. Her dream job is to become a professional dancer on Broadway someday. Julia would like to extend her gratitude to her parents for letting her pursue her dreams.!

Production Team !Maximo Grano DeOro (Crew Chief) Returning for his fifth year of Teen Drama, Max once again takes on the role of Crew Chief, in addition to Props Master, Lighting Designer and Carpenter. As a rising college sophomore, he studies Lighting Design at Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Previous credits include Julius Caesar, Young Frankenstien the Musical, and Urinetown the Musical, among others. He wishes both the cast and crew a great run!!!Mattew Lepore (Stage Manager, No, Really!) Rising from the dark abyss, Matt has finally crawled out from the bottom of the food chain as a lowly stagehand, and in just three short years, ascended to his ultimate role as Stage Manager—the top of the bottom of the pyramid! The Addams Family will be Mattʼs third Teen Drama Production, and in his three years backstage for Teen Drama as well as numerous W.H.A.T.-sponsored productions, has been a stagehand, worked the lighting

board, and received a standing ovation for his starring role as Decker the Horse in last yearʼs Young Frankenstein. Mattʼs future plans consist of getting a degree in Communication Arts at Caldwell University, getting mad money and ladies, and hopefully not dying soon. Mattʼs dream career is to voice a cartoon mascot for Reeseʼs Puffs Cereal (“Candy for breakfast?” “Not candy, Reeseʼs Puff Cereal!”). Joe Ferriero once compared Matt and Maximo as both being funny, but Matt was “funny on-purpose”.  Matt apologizes for taking up so much space, and for sending in this bio 3 minutes past the deadline, but since his bios are always the funniest, we let it slide.!!

Alex Palomino (Stage Crew) After gracing the audience with his heroics as the Tin Man in the Queen of Peace production of The Wizard of Oz, Alex vanished in hopes of a simpler life. One day, he was called once again to help the kingdom by offering his assistance at Teen Dramaʼs production of The Addams Family. He attends Montclair State University in hopes the knowledge he obtains will be enough to save the world. Once the world is purged of evil, and peace is restored, he hopes to be

able to settle down as a computer engineer for some corporate company in New York. Until then, he will continue to offer his help to those in need.!!

Vincent Veneziano (Stage Crew) is thrilled for his second year at Teen Drama! This is his second time back stage and seventh show overall! His credits include Bye, Bye Birdie, Grease, 9 to 5, Young Frankenstein, Drowsy Chaperone (actor), and Wizard of Oz (technical advisor, acting coach, crew). He hopes to continue his dreams in the theater. He also wishes the entire cast the best. “Break a leg!”!!! !

Joseph Ferriero (Director) is thrilled for another season of Teen Drama. Having directed countless musicals, Joe is excited to return to his “home” stage, where he created his first drama program over 10 years ago. Since that time, Joe has acted and directed countless plays, musicals, and reviews. Joe is also a founder and director for WHAT, where he also made his debut as a playwright. Joe has also developed his love for theater while working with 3-time Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane. Joe is now pursuing his passion for education in Morris, Minnesota as Principal of St. Maryʼs School. Thanks to a great cast, crew, MicheleEve, and to my friends and family for all their support as I pursue my dreams!!!Michele Sarnoski (Director/Producer) Some of Micheleʼs most treasured memories are spending time with her BFF Joe in the theater. An English teacher at Paramus HS, Michele has worked on musicals and plays for 10 years as a choreographer, producer, and director. Some of her favorite creds include: WHATʼs 24 hour musical challenges, Legally Blonde, 25th... Spelling Bee, and Godspell. When not in the theater, Michele can be found in school, working on the PHS yearbook, or spending time with her amazing family and friends. Her next project will be the PHS fall play, followed by WHATʼs next 24 Hour Musical Challenge! Much love to my family, who make all my productions possible, and of course, my common-law, Joe! !!Scott Burzynski (Music Director) is the vocal music teacher at Washington School in Kearny, and the organist at Pompton Reformed Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ.  This is Scott's fifth year with Teen Drama!  He has taught courses with W.H.A.T.'s Education Department and appeared on stage in WHATʼs productions of Godspell and The Frog Princess, and he is also a staff member at Porch Light Productions in Glen Rock, NJ.  He has music directed productions at Paramus High School and Bethlehem (PA) Catholic High School.  Favorite music direction credits include: Legally Blonde, Urinetown, Camelot, Nunsense, Spelling Bee, and The Sound of Music.  Scott would like Joe to know that he already misses him terribly!  Any time you need to hear a hilarious bungee jumping joke, I'm just a phone call away.
