The goal of ACADEMY OF WORSHIP ARTS is to raise-up the next generation of people who truly know how to worship God in Spirit and Truth. We seek to train up whole-hearted, fully-integrated worshipers who express praise, worship

and honor to God through their love of music and the arts, while learning how to praise, worship and honor God in every area of life. We desire to help young people grow in artistic expression through music and the arts for the glory of God and the good of man.

JESSICA BLEVINS: VIOLIN/PIANO/VOCAL INSTRUCTOR Jessica has been passionate about music since she sang her first solo in church as a pre-schooler. From a young age she has known she was called to be a worshipper. She has actively pursued God in worship and music, and has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Marshall University and a Masters Degree in Violin Performance from James Madison University. As both a musician and worship leader, Jessica divides her time between the classical music scene and worship music. As a classical violinist she plays with ensembles such as the Nashville

Philharmonic Orchestra, the Paducah Symphony, Orchestra Kentucky, and plays at many weddings and other events with her string quartet, Sereno Strings. Jessica can also be seen on any given Sunday leading worship or playing keys or violin at New Song Christian Fellowship. Jessica has many years experience teaching violin, piano, and voice and loves the opportunity to pour into the next generation of worshippers. Her goal is to make lessons fun and engaging while helping her students learn to be highly skilled musicians devoted to serving Christ.

GWEN ELLIOTT: DANCE INSTRUCTOR Gwen Elliott is thrilled to be a part of the team at New Song Academy of Worship Arts. Gwen has spent the last 12 years leading dance ministry at New Song Christian Fellowship. From 2001 – 2006, she owned and operated her own dance studio, which she closed when it was time for her to have children. Gwen has a passion to see technical excellence married with fully devoted, whole-hearted worship of Jesus Christ. Focused on worship as a lifestyle, modesty and divinely inspired creativity, Gwen brings a strong teaching element to dance. “My life’s mission in dance is to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel and then to see that

transformation expressed in dance. Whether a worship element or a piece that tells a story, dance is a vehicle that should be used to glorify Him and to tell His story! I love to see multiple creative elements work together to make an even greater impact.”

ANGELA ROBISON: DANCE INSTRUCTOR Angela Robison is passionate about teaching dance as a form of worship unto the Lord! Angela started taking lessons at the age of 5 and has since spent many years involved in New Song's dance ministry. She discovered her love for teaching dance at a young age and loves seeing all ages released in their gifts. Angela loves finding "teachable moments" in every class, to not only instruct dance, but also to impart the truth of God's word and practical lessons. She sees dance as an avenue to further God's kingdom in the lives of individuals and as a beautiful art form for God's glory. Angela shared, "One thing I love about

dance is that kids instinctively discover movement as a way to express how they feel. There is a joyful moment when you see them realize it is an even better way to express how they feel about God as they worship Him." In the seasons to come, Angela is excited to partner with others in stewarding a worship environment where kids can learn to be excellent and passionate, servant-hearted and pure.

DANA LATHROP: DRAMA INSTRUCTOR A resident of Spring Hill, TN, Dana has been performing since the age of 14. She studied at Playhouse West and The Groundlings, and has worked in front of and behind the camera. Dana moved from California to Tennessee with her family and is with a local Talent Agency, working on a few productions here in Nashville. She is the mother of two

beautiful girls, Bella (5), who attends New Song Christian Academy and Arianna (2). Dana's desire is to pour the love of Christ into the students, as well as enrich their lives through the world of theatre.

CINDY WAGNER: PIANO / VOCAL INSTRUCTOR Cindy Wagner started taking piano lessons at age five and instantly loved it. By the time she was 14 she was giving beginner piano lessons as her job.
