Andrew Sharman, Owens-Illinois, Switzerland director - Environment, Health & safety and risk Management Andrew Sharman has enjoyed a range of senior roles within the energy, FMCG, finance, and manufacturing sectors and currently holds the position of Environment, Health & Safety and Risk Management Director for Owens-Illinois Inc., the world‘s largest glass container manufacturer. Andrew holds a Masters degree in International Environment, Health and Safety Law and is a member of the Health & Safety Lawyers Association. He also holds a Masters degree in Organizational Behaviour, regularly presenting papers on his research into attitudes, behaviours and organizational safety culture to professional conferences around the world. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world‘s largest body for OSH professionals, as well as Vice hairman of IOSH’s Board of Trustees, and a Director of its commercial business, IOSH Services Ltd. Far from being risk averse Andrew enjoys paragliding, sea kayaking and swimming with sharks.

Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, International Social Security Association (ISSA), Switzerland, secretary GeneralSecretary General of the International Social Security Association since 2005, Mr Hans-Horst Konkolewsky has promoted the concept of dynamic social security and is a leading advocate of the social dimension of globalization. Elected by the members of the ISSA to lead the Association, the Secretary General of the ISSA oversees a programme of worldwide activities that includes major international conferences and seminars on social security issues; research and data gathering; training for CEOs and middle management officials; promotion and public information activities; regional activities for the four regions: Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas as well as external relations with other major international organizations involved with social and economic development issues (World Bank, IMF, OECD, ILO, WHO, UN, etc.). Prior to his election as Secretary General, Mr Hans-Horst Konkolewsky served for 10 years as the Director of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, a tripartite European Union institution located in Bilbao, Spain. Under his leadership, the Agency became the major provider of safety and health information for workplaces and a key driver in promoting a prevention culture not only in Europe, but also worldwide. Mr Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, who is a Danish national, has also held several senior positions in the Danish Ministry of Employment and has served as Deputy Director General of the Danish Working Environment Authority. The Secretary General holds graduate and post-graduate degrees from the University of Aalborg, Denmark.

Alastair Davey, Sodexo, France, Global Health and safety directorAlastair originally trained as an electronics engineer with GEC and has an honours degree in Electronics Engineering and also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. After a brief period working as a management consultant with KPMG, Alastair spent ten years working in the international oil, gas and chemicals sector with BP and ExxonMobil and held a number of senior roles within risk management and audit functions. Alastair then moved to Sodexo as Head of the Global Internal Audit team in London and was appointed Global Health and Safety Director in 2008. Sodexo designs, manages and delivers solutions for clients to improve quality of life in the workplace and to help employees to be more efficient. Operating in 80 countries, Sodexo is the 20th largest employer worldwide with 420,000 employees and serves 75 million consumers each day.

Chris Poole, Milliken, Great Britain European Business development ManagerChris Poole is a highly experienced Safety, TPM, Lean and Change Management Practitioner. He has been working in manufacturing and business process improvement for the last 18 years in senior operational roles and then with global blue chip organisations across Europe and the US. He won the prestigious European Quality Award in 1993 followed by the Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance Award in 1999. His plants eliminated significant safety incidents, delivered 90% reductions in defects, breakdowns, short stops, changeovers and lead times. In addition, these results were translated across business process with positive impact on Accounts Receivable, Sales Order conversion and Market Share growth. His plants have gone 11 years without a lost time accident. Since 2001, he has supported various businesses in their own Safety and Performance system process implementations across many sectors, including packaging, food, brewing, food, steel manufacture, textiles and chemicals, information management, banking and forestry. nick Bailey, Milliken, Great Britain, senior PractitionerNick Bailey is an experienced Senior practitioner with Milliken Performance Solutions. He has worked for Milliken and Company for over 20 years in a variety of manufacturing related roles with his plants winning many awards and achieving several lost time accident free years. Nick was part of Milliken’s first study mission to Japan with a group from Europe and also participated in a subsequent mission with US colleagues. Having spent time as the MPS Champion for the UK, Nick was promoted to the role of Plant Manager and successfully led the first site in Milliken to challenge for the JIPM TPM award. Following a move to lead a larger Milliken manufacturing site, another successful challenge for the TPM award was mounted. After more than 10 years as a site leader he joined the Milliken Performance Solutions business. Nick is a certified JIPM instructor and as an MPS practitioner has worked with companies in a number of European countries and sectors on their Safety and Performance systems Chris and Nick oversee business development for Performance Solutions in Europe and welcome you to come and visit Milliken locations that have been working with the Safety Way for the last 20 years. Alex Botha, British Safety Council (BSC), Great Britain chief ExecutiveAlex Botha has been with the British Safety Council since April 2010: first as director of finance and resources, then as chief executive from July 2011. He is passionate about the work of the British Safety Council and dedicated to working towards it‘s vision: that no one should be killed, injured or made ill by work activity. Alex gained an honours degree in accounting and qualified as a chartered accountant while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in his native South Africa. He then worked in investment banking, specialising in structured finance and project finance. After coming to the UK and completing his MBA at London Business School, he worked as an executive consultant for a major UK construction company and in the business turnaround team of a professional services firm. Alex has extensive third sector experience and was deputy chief executive of a homelessness charity for four years before coming to the British Safety Council. He also holds a Masters in development management from the Open University and is a trustee of two international development charities.

Daniel M. Killeen, U.S. Steel Kosice, Slovakia General Manager safety & iH Dan Killeen is the General Manager for Safety and Industrial Hygiene at U.S. Steel Kosice, s.r.o., the largest private fully integrated steel producer and employer in Slovakia. Prior to Dan‘s assignment in Kosice he spent 16 years in various operating management positions within U.S. Steel in Pittsburgh, Pa, Gary, In and Smederevo, Serbia. During his career with U.S. Steel Dan managed many diverse facilities ranging from the Blast Furnaces to Tin Finishing Facilities. His extensive experience in the field and deep knowledge of operational areas enables him to identify and implement systemic safety solutions that are balanced within all of the business drivers. Dan is a firm believer that all incidents and injuries can be prevented in the workplace through employees’ engagement, education and training, eliminating hazards in the workplace, making safety a personal responsibility, and holding management accountable for the results.

Dr Janet Asherson, International Organisation of employers (IOe), Switzerland, adviser Environment, Health and safetyAfter graduating in chemistry, Janet worked in industry in Zambia and then joined the UK Health and Safety Executive as a Health and Safety inspector dealing particularly with high hazard industries. She worked as an EHS manager for an American pharmaceutical company before joining the CBI to lobby on behalf of British business. Her policy areas spanned health, safety, environment, energy, climate change, biotechnology, land use planning, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. She represented UK employers on environment, health and safety at national, EU and international level and was chairperson of the EU employers group for OSH dealing with the European Commission. She has been involved in various consultancy roles for ORC Washington, HSE and the EU. She joined the International Organisation of Employers in Geneva in 2008 as their environment, safety and health adviser. Her focus is developing a global OSH and sustainability network of multinational companies and influencing UN bodies on EHS and social security policy and practice developments.

Chris Brown, Olam International, Great Britain corporate responsibility & sustainability Environment Manager Chris Brown is the Environment Manager for Olam International Ltd., a leading global integrated supply chain manager and processor of agricultural products and food ingredients, supplying various products including cocoa, coffee, cashew, sesame, rice, cotton and wood products in 65 countries. In this role Chris leads Olam’s environmental sustainability agenda, where he works with the business to build, drive and embed environmental value as a tool for delivering business value. This requires him to work with all aspects of the business from Finance to factories and engage a range of stakeholders from corporate banks to corporate customers. Chris holds an honours degree in Chemical Engineering and a Postgraduate diploma in Environmental Management. He brings 20 years of environmental experience in a range of managerial positions from a variety of sectors including the waste sector, steel sector, automotive sector with Toyota and the power sector with E.ON. His move into the agricultur sector may look like a huge leap but Chris says the challenges facing this sector are no different from any other and the opportunity to work for a company which believes that doing business involves creating value on an ethical, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable basis was simply an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Melodie Gilbert, Olympic Delivery Authority, Great Britain learning legacy ambassadorMelodie Gilbert is a consultant occupational hygienist with a working knowledge of occupational hygiene across many industry sectors including demolition and construction. She is a Graduate Member of IOSH and a Member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society. Melodie specialises in occupational ill health prevention on a strategic level and played a key role in both the London 2012 and Crossrail projects. The Olympic Delivery Authority procured a comprehensive occupational health programme to provide support to its contracting supply chain and services to the 12,000+ workers at peak working on its sites. Melodie was head of ill health prevention for 5 years and was one of the leaders of the Park and Village Health teams. The ill health prevention work that she managed has recently been identified in an independent research paper undertaken by the Institute of Employment Studies (IES) as an effective investment rather than a cost. She also assisted in the creation of the occupational health management strategy for Cross Rail and is currently working on strategic planning for other large construction companies as a legacy of the ODA programme. Melodies work as a London 2012 learning legacy ambassador has led to presentations at many occupational health and safety conferences and seminars.

Ismail Mataqi, Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait Team leader of HsE (north Kuwait) TeamIsmail Mataqi has had more than 28 years of diverse experiences ranging from surface facilities’ Project design, to planning and execution of the HSE Management system at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). Currently he heads a team of about 25 qualified HSE personnel who look after HSE issues at the North Kuwait fields of the Kuwait Oil Company. He provides the backbone for setting up the HSE Team in one of the most distant desert locations in Kuwait. Starting from scratch, he implemented the Company’s HSE Management system at North Kuwait fields effectively, and now the results of their HSE programme‘s performance confirm the efforts made. HSE (NK) team has now been recognized as one of the most distinguished Teams at KOC in initiating HSE projects and delivering quality to their business. Under his leadership and able guidance, extensive effort and development concerned with HSE have been executed in North Kuwait fields, which has contributed to a radical change in the HSE culture in his area of jurisdiction. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and also of the Kuwait Society of Engineers, the largest association of Engineers in Kuwait. He has presented a number of technical papers on various platforms via ASSE, Middle East Chapter, SPE Conferences, Praxis Global Conferences (where he has also been a Steering Committee member) and Fleming Gulf Conferences, which were held in different regions of the world. He led the HSE (West Kuwait) Team to the following certifications and awards: • 2010 British Safety Council certification (awarded in May, 2011) • A Campaign conducted by HSE (West Kuwait) Team was selected as one of the best and awarded by Safety Health Practitioners - IOSH • The team obtained several KOC Chairman and Managing Director’s HSE Annual Awards • Has conducted many HSE lectures both internally for KOC employees and contractors, but also externally, for many governmental bodies.

Subash Ludhra, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), immediate Past-PresidentSubash Ludhra is President of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Subash, a chartered fellow of IOSH, has a wealth of experience in risk management, having worked across sectors and disciplines in a truly diverse 23 year career to date. Qualified as an Occupational Hygienist, Subash now specializes in Risk Management and Loss Control.Having started his career in local government, Subash then moved to the brewing industry, working for Grand Metropolitan and Courage Brewing as their southern region H&S Advisor. His next career move lead him to Rentokil Initial where he worked within several divisions including Textile Services and Catering Services where he was one of the board directors. In 2002, Subash founded a successful risk management and loss control consultancy that has provided services to blue chip companies, as well as SMEs in the UK and around the world. An experienced trainer, Subash regularly contributes to a number of health and safety publications and has been involved with the production of several health and safety documents for trade associations and the Health and Safety Executive. Martin Carter, e.On, Great Britain director of safety, Health & EnvironmentMartin Carter is Director of Safety, Health & Environment at E.ON UK, one of the UK’s leading power and gas companies. In this role he has the privilege of leading a talented team of professionals committed to making a positive difference to the safety and health of E.ON’s staff, contractors & customers and the world in which they live and work. Previously he was Head of E.ON’s Engineering Academy, which provides engineering training and development to the power sector, and Head of Engineering Governance, overseeing the engineering activities of E.ON’s high-hazard asset businesses operating in the UK. Prior to joining E.ON, Martin spent 15 years in the oil & gas industry where he held a range of operational, project and consultancy roles with some of the world’s biggest companies including BHP Billiton, BP, Centrica, Shell, Total and Talisman Energy. Martin is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, a Visiting Fellow of Cranfield University, holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Salford) and a Master’s Degree in Structural Integrity (Sheffield). Outside work his three children consistently provide both his biggest leadership challenge and most direct and honest feedback on his performance, leaving him just enough time to help lead the Men‘s Ministry at his local church.

Kieran Phelan, William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd, Great Britain, Global Health & safety directorKieran began his early career in research and development in the chemical industry before moving into the field of Health and Safety. Currently he holds the position of Global Health and Safety Director at William Grant and Sons, the international distillers. Prior to this he held several senior health and safety roles in various industrial sectors such as Banking, Biopharmaceuticals and ICT. These roles included Head of Safety and Wellbeing for RBS in the EMEA region, Director of Safety for the world’s largest single site Biopharmaceutical manufacturing campus outside Dublin and Head of Safety and Environment for Xerox manufacturing in Europe. Originally from Ireland, Kieran’s formal education included Chemistry at the University of East Anglia in the UK and the University of Leiden in the Netherlands as well as post graduate qualifications in Occupational Safety and Environmental Business Administration. He is currently completing an MBA at the University of Strathclyde business school in Glasgow.

Professor neil Budworth, Houghtons Global, Great Britain director of Health, safety and Environment Europe Neil Budworth is the Director of Health, Safety and Environment Europe for Houghtons Global in the UK he is a visiting professor in occupational safety and health in the department of Human Sciences at Loughborough University and is a Past President of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Neil has worked as a health and safety advisor in the utility, chemical, engineering and printing sectors. Neil has undertaken research into the measurement of safety climate; the management of lifting and handling in the workplace with a special emphasis on the management of back pain, and pioneered the use of an automated health check system that is now accredited as part of the Association of British Insurers: Making the Market Work Initiative. Neil has worked extensively with IOSH, chairing the committees which developed the Institution’s policies on the safety of young people and on occupational health. As well as chairing the Professional Organisations in Occupational Safety and Health Group. Neil has been awardedDistinguished Services Awards by both IOSH and RoSPA for his services to Occupational Safety and Health. He has also been involved in various governmental committees, the most recent of which was the Continuous Improvement Programme Action Group where he was the primary author of the strategic document examining the role of market segmentation in effectively delivering health and safety messages.

Professor Cary Cooper, Lancaster University, UK distinguished Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health Cary L. Cooper is the author of over 120 books, has written over 400 scholarly articles for academic journals, and is a frequent contributor to national newspapers, TV and radio. He is currently Founding Editor of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Editor-in-Chief of the medical journal Stress & Health. Professor Cooper is past President of the British Academy of Management, is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute and one of the first UK based Fellows of the Academy of Management. In 2001, Cary was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his contribution to occupational safety and health. He holds Honorary Doctorates from Aston University (DSc), Heriot-Watt University (DLitt), Middlesex University (Doc. Univ), Sheffield University (DSc) and Wolverhampton University (DBA); an Honorary Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in 2005, was

awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (Hon FRCP) in 2006, in 2007 a Life Time Achievement Award from the Division of Occupational Psychology of the British Psychological Society, in 2008 an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, in 2010 awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology, an Honorary Fellowship of the British Psychological Society. Professor Cooper is Chair of the UK’s Academy of Social Sciences, as well as past Chair of the Chronic Disease and Wellbeing Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum in Geneva. In November 2010, he was awarded the Lord Dearing Lifetime Achievement Award by the Times Higher Education for his distinguished contribution to higher education. In 2012, HR Magazine voted him the 4th Most Influential HR Thinker. Professor Cooper is the Editor-in-Chief of the international scholarly Blackwell Encyclopedia of Management, the Editor of Who’s Who in the Management Sciences and on the Editorial Boards of many scholarly journals. He has been an adviser to two UN agencies; the World Health Organisation and the ILO; published a major report for the EU’s European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Work Conditions on `Stress Prevention in the Workplace’, produced a scientific review for the WHO/ILO on workplace violence in the health sector internationally, and was a special adviser to the Defense Committee of the House of Commons on their Duty of Care enquiry. Professor Cooper is former Chair of The Sunningdale Institute (a think tank on management/organizational issues) in the National School of Government (2004-2009). He was also the lead scientist to the UK Government Office for Science on their Foresight programme on Mental Capital and Well Being (2007-2009), and was appointed a member of the expert group on establishing guidance for the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence on ‘promoting mental wellbeing through productive and healthy working conditions’, 2009. Professor Cooper is also the President of the Institute of Welfare, President of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, President of RELATE, a national Ambassador of The Samaritans, and a Patron of the Anxiety UK.

Professor Sidney Dekker, Griffith University, Safety Science Innovation Lab, Australia, Professor, safety science innovation labSidney Dekker is Professor in the School of Humanities at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. Previously Professor at Lund University, Sweden, and Director of the Leonardo Da Vinci Center for Complexity and Systems Thinking, he gained his Ph.D. in Cognitive Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University, USA in 1996. He has worked in New Zealand, the Netherlands, and England, has been Senior Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and visiting Professor in healthcare safety in both Melbourne, Australia and Manitoba, Canada. He has recently been flying part-time as pilot on the Boeing 737NG with an airline out of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is author of several best-selling books on system failure and human error. Recent ones include „Behind human error“ (2010), „Drift into Failure“ (2011), „Patient Safety“ (2011), and „Just Culture (2nd Edition)“ (2012).

Linn Iren Vestly Bergh, Statoil, norway, leading advisor Health and Working Environment Psychosocial working environmentLinn studied psychology at St. Olaf College in Minnesota USA, followed by a master’s degree in Occupational Health Psychology from the Institute of Work, Health and Organisations at the University of Nottingham in the UK. Currently she has started a part time PhD in Occupational Health Psychology and Risk Management at the Institute of Work, Health and Organisation, University of Nottingham. She is currently working in the field of health and working environment. More specifically she works as a corporate leading advisor for psychosocial work environment in Norway’s largest Oil and Gas Company, Staoil. As a Leading Advisor for Psychosocial Work Environment she is responsible for running a professional network of practitioners. Furthermore, she is responsible for ensuring that acknowledged standards, tools, technology and work methods are developed, qualified and applied globally in the company. She has especially focused on the promotion of health through the design, organisation and management of work.

Dr tim Marsh, ryder Marsh Safety, UK, Managing directorTim Marsh was one of the team leaders of the original UK research into behavioral safety (in construction) in the early 1990s and is considered a world authority on the subject. Tim is one of only a few Chartered Psychologists who are also Chartered Fellows of IOSH. As a consultant he has since worked with more than 300 major organizations around the world, has presented to the European Conference Board and was expert witness at the “Safety Culture” and “Management of Change” open workshops at the Cullen Inquiry, Ladbroke Grove. He runs the “behavioral safety” and “pro-active safety culture” courses for IOSH and created the award winning “Affective Safety Management”.

Dr Stavroula Leka, Centre for Organizational Health & Development, Institute of Work, Health & Organisations, UK associate Professor in Occupational Health PsychologyStavroula Leka, PhD, is Associate Professor in Occupational Health Psychology at the Institute of Work, Health & Organisations, University of Nottingham. She is Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. She is Director of the Centre for Organizational Health & Development – one of three World Health Organization Collaborating Centres in Occupational Health in the UK. She also manages the WHO global programme of work on ‘Protection and Promotion of Workers’ Health’. She is Chair of the scientific committee ‚Work Organisation & Psychosocial Factors‘ of the International Commission on Occupational Health; and member of the Executive Committee of the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology. She received an early career achievement award by the American Psychological Association and the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health for outstanding contribution in occupational health psychology and the study of work-related stress. Dr Leka’s expertise lies in the translation of occupational health and safety knowledge and policy in practice. More specifically, her research focuses on the evaluation of occupational health and safety regulation and policy and its associated infrastructures and supporting systems at different levels (such as international, European, national and organisational). Her research has a strong applied focus and aims at facilitating effective occupational health and safety management in different organisational contexts. Key themes in her research are business and societal sustainability through the management of the psychological and social work environment; the management of psychosocial risks and work-related stress; the promotion of mental health and well-being in the workplace; and the promotion of occupational health and safety through a corporate social responsibility framework. She is author of the first textbook in occupational health psychology and technical author of the first standard on the management of psychosocial risks in the workplace. She has been invited as keynote speaker to a number of international conferences and is expert advisor to the European Commission, the WHO, the ILO, the European Agency for Safety & Health at Work and the European Parliament.

tess Allen, Forum Interactive, UK, directorTess is a learning and development expert, specialising in active, experiential methods. A director of Forum Interactive, she has created a unique approach to address the challenge of improving health & safety culture in high risk industries. This approach supports behavioural change through emotional engagement, quality dialogue and skills development. She has led cultural change projects in multinational companies such as First Group, Maersk Oil, Dana Petroleum, Premier Oil and GE Energy.

Dr Andrew Curran, Health & Safety Laboratory (HSL) Great Britain, director science and resourcesAndrew joined HSL in 1991 after completing a PhD in cancer research at Nottingham University. Whilst at HSL he developed a research interest in

occupational respiratory disease and he has published and lectured extensively in this area. Andrew is currently the Director of Science and Resources at HSL and his responsibilities include the professional leadership of the scientists, engineers and technical specialists within the organisation, and the delivery of appropriate outputs to HSL‘s customers. Andrew helped to establish the Centre for Workplace Health (CWH) with HSL‘s Chief Medical Officer, David Fishwick. CWH is an academic unit of the University of Sheffield and Andrew is the Scientific Director of CWH. He is also an honorary Reader at the University of Sheffield and an honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. Andrew is a Board Member of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), and is a member of the ICOH Scientific Steering Committee. He also Chairs a European group on Well-being.

neal Stone, British Safety Council (BSC), Great Britain director of Policy & communicationsNeal Stone leads the British Safety Council’s policy, research and communications team. Central to Neal’s role is engagement with stakeholders critical to the effective management of health and safety including our member organisations, government, the regulator, other health and safety organisations, trade unions and trade associations. Neal, who joined the British Safety Council in 2008, has recently spoken, written and represented the organisation on a number of major issues including the UK government’s review of health and safety regulation, director leadership, and worker involvement. Neal worked for the Health and Safety Executive from 1992-2008. From 2005-2007 he was the policy adviser to the HSC Chair, Sir Bill Callaghan. Earlier Neal led HSE’s worker involvement and business involvement programmes including the policy lead on director responsibility, the management of health and safety, worker compensation and worker involvement. Neal has a first degree in law from the LSE, an MSc in Politics from Birkbeck College and an MPhil politics research degree from University of Kent.

teresa Budworth, nebosh, UK, cEOTeresa Budworth is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a Chartered Director. During a more than 30 year career in health and safety, she has specialised in safety consultancy; working with a number of Boards of Directors on implementing safety governance within large and diverse organisations. Her work on competence, education and training has culminated in her appointment as Chief Executive of NEBOSH; the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health, in 2006. Prior to joining NEBOSH, Teresa combined management of Norwich Union Risk Service’s Consultancy operation with her post as a non-executive Director and Trustee of NEBOSH and was Senior Examiner for Diploma Part One from its inception in 1997. She is a Visiting Senior Teaching Fellow and member of the Examination Board for post graduate courses in Occupational Health at the University of Warwick’s Medical School. She is the Chair of RoSPA’s National Occupational Safety and Health Committee and chair of the judging panel for RoSPA’s annual occupational safety and health awards. She has also served as a judge for the SHP IOSH Awards and the International Fertilizer Association Green Leaf Award. Teresa is Vice Chairman of the Board of OSHCR Ltd, the body running the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register, which was established in 2011 by the Health and Safety Executive and a number of professional membership bodies representing safety and health practitioners. She is also a member of IOSH’s Council.

tony Zadnikar, Z-Safety Services, Belgium Business director Europe 1Tony started his career in 1991 at Ford Genk (Belgium), where he worked for 8 years as co-ordinator of the technical maintenance department. In 1999 he joined Kautex Textron. As a Supplier Park Manager he set up a production site in Cologne (Germany) for the yearly final assembly of 400.000 fuel tanks just in time and in sequence. In 2003 he continued his career at Z-Safety Services (formally known as SRS) as Business Unit Manager for Belgium, where he worked his way up to Country Director Belgium/Dutch Limburg and finally in 2011 became the Business Director for Z-Safety Services Europe. During his professional career, he never kept from improving his abilities. Besides successfully completing the International Management Program at Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School, he also became a certified Prevention Advisor.
