The 56 Illusions

The EARTHSONG Calender is designed to show the moods for a whole yearly cycle. What happens during a mood, if we have a jewel or pool, is that we act out the corresponding issue, or it is being acted out by some-one for us. This is because whatever is in control wants us to live at the MAXIMUM. The EARTHSONG enables us to connect with Truth during any mood by listening to a true Master such as Osho, Buddha, Jesus, Ramana Maharshi, the Dalai Lama, John de Ruiter, Gangagi, Isaac Shapiro, Ekhart Tolle just to name a few. By “letting it be so” as recommended by Osho, the charge in our nervous system will go. All the true Masters come with the same message. Buddha:“Drop all Desire”, Jesus:“I am the Way”, Ramana Maharshi “Who am I”. The bottom line is love your Self and remain in Truth, which is: I Here Now. Loving ourselves is impos-sible when we are full of lies. The above template shows the Ryder Waite cards for the spaces in the left eye. The 16 executive cards, Kings, Queens, Knights, and the Pages relate to the 4 executive organs of the Cerebellum, Arms, Brain, and Small Intestine. The remaining 40 cards all appear twice, covering the remaining 80 spaces. They occur in 2 circuits, that are similar, but the 4 cards are in a different order. The Heart which is concerned with “The Self” has the 10’s in the sequence Swords/Cups/Pentacles/Wands, while the Lungs, which are focussed on “The Other”, have the sequence Wands/Pentacles/Cups/Swords. The illusion in each space was identified by Dheeraj in short notes, which describe the symbolism in the pictures drawn by Pamela Coleman for the Ryder Waite deck. I have reduced them to a single line in the Tibetan Alphabet which is the work book for the EARTHSONG, and is part of this web site. It is too simple. The lie hurts! The truth sets you free !Let us look at the same space as the right eye’s example: The Unison in the Tongue E pro-duces the 4 of swords in the Ryder Waite deck. It shows a knight lying on his coffin in a holy place ready to die for truth, as symbolized by the 3 swords ready to fall on him. He is in this situation be-cause there is something for which he feels responsible and it produces a lot of tension. He wants to know the truth. Symbolized by the parallel sword on the coffin. He would rather die than not know the truth. I have seen this in individuals who blame themselves for their parents having divorced!

Once you are aware of your illusions you will start to notice them in others, by the way they act or speak. To overcome the issues, the Osho Zen Tarot deck and its accompanying booklet are the perfect instruments to arrive at Truth. This deck has been around since 1994 and was produced by a team of Tarot Readers in Pune. They took pieces from Osho’s discourses to address the issue. The illustrations and the comments were prepared by Ma Deva Padma. The way to heal the illusion is to read what Osho said about the particular issue when the lie is in your face. The EARTHSONG calendar allows you to do this by displaying the cards in the left eye spaces in the centre of the calendar. When you have determined the mood you can look up the card in the eye and then read the truth by looking it up in the book. The 2nd edition of the Osho Zen Tarot is available through Gateway (www.gillmacmillan.ie) and costs around $50. Going back to the example for the space in the Unison of the Tongue E , the Osho Zen card is the 4 of clouds POSTPONEMENT. Osho told a joke to point out that this is simply stupid. Truth is Here Now all ideas of “what if” will disappear because it is arrogance to believe that we are in control of what happens. We are aware of what happened. Blaming ourselves for things we have no control over is a waste of time. On average people have about a 6 illusions. Since there are only 56 possible illusions it is a fairly simple exercise to find out which ones make you suffer. In my experience the worst and most common illusion is the 6 of cups, the Dream. This is when you still believe that a relationship can make you happy. I have seen this many times in the eyes of people. The most graphic case, was a man whose wife had put broken glass in their bed, because she wanted to be rid of him! He told me “I did everything to make her happy”. He did not believe me, but when he read what Osho said he told me I had changed his life. It is not true, only you can do that for yourself, and the best method is to find out WHO you really are. The EARTHSONG helps you to discover the TRUTH. But you do have to find this out for yourself by experiencing that I is the way just like all Masters have done.
