of God and is in a special relationship with God

• We are called to respect our own lives and the lives of others ALWAYS!!

The 5th Commandment• We cannot take away another person’s dignity• We are called to show special respect and care

for people whose lives are made harder by sickness or handicaps

• A human life is valuable even if it is weak, in pain or old

• The value of life is not decided by someone’s “usefulness”

• We must not abuse food, alcohol, tobacco or medicine, and we must not use illegal drugs
