Eagles’ Weekly Newsletter The 2nd Grade

Spelling – We are working on words with short vowel sounds /a/ and /i/. This will be the ONLY practice test that is solely graded for completion. The next assessment will be THE REAL DEAL. J Reading – Students will learn about choosing books and sequencing events. Writing – Students will work on writing complete sentences. Math – Students will practice identifying odd and even numbers and review ways to make 10. Social Studies – Students are working on building our class community.
