We want to extend our warmest and most sincere good wishes to all our wonderful clients and their families, whether they be of the two legged or four legged variety, for a very happy and safe Christmas period. We consider ourselves to be very fortunate to have such lovely, caring clients who make our every day an absolute pleasure. Stay safe and well and we look forward to continuing our relationship with you next year. The Move What an exciting and busy time it has been moving The Vet Clinic across the road to behind For Pets Sake and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Many of you have been in to the new clinic already and we are very pleased to say that the feedback has been very positive. We have done our best to maintain the warm and friendly atmosphere we have always been known for and while the premises may have changed, the same friendly staff are still here to help you and your pet. Unlike with the old premises, we have a separate dedicated hospital area for cats and dogs making it a more restful recovery area for your pet. The air-conditioning throughout the clinic is second to none and we have already had weather that would put any air- conditioning system to the test and it passed with flying colours! Somebody who was initially less than impressed with the move is Peanut but she has now settled in and is once again making her presence known around the clinic. But that’s a story for Peanut to tell in her own words. And for those of you who have yet to make it in for a visit, as promised our much loved coffee machine did make the arduous journey across the road with us.

Peanut’s Poetry.Across the road we were movingPeanut was less than impressed! But after a few weeks of brooding,She realised it was for the best.

Peanut is now back to her old ways,Offering solace to the hospital patientsFrolicking around with her toys,And demanding all of our attentions.

On her first big adventure outdoors,She got a bit too braveOver the fence, landing on all fours,Her situation was looking a bit grave!

After a long day in the heat,Poor Peanut was feeling a bit concernedHungry and thirsty Peanut thought she was beat,As she couldn’t figure out how to return.

But the girl’s came through,Just in the nick of timeWith a well-planned rescue,That got her home before bedtime!

Now Peanut is happy to laze about indoors,She keeps watch on the hospital patientsAnd gets relief from the cool floors

She’s gearing up for Christmas,Trying to look her bestHoping that something delicious Under the tree will be left! Meow!
