Parent / Child DedicationMother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, 2018

During 9 AM & 11 AM ServicesEach year we take time to have a special ceremony for new parents and parents who are new Christians to dedicate their families to the Lord. If you have an infant or young child, or if you are new to the faith, or new to Hudson First and would like to dedicate your child(ren) and yourselves to the Lord, we invite you to participate on May 13th during either the 9 AM or 11 AM service. It will be a special time, and one to which you will want to invite grandparents and friends. Fill out the registration form that can be found at Connect Central or at bulletin locations. You may place your registration in the offering plates during the service or bring them by the office. Please bring a current picture of your child(ren) to the church office or email to office@hudsonsfirst.org by May 6th.

First Kids: Muffins for Mothers Day! May 13, 2018

We want to honor you Mom! Stop by the First Kids Sunday School Department on the 2nd floor before Sunday School for a muffin, coffee, and juice.

Help Team Peru! Sunday Lunch Fundraisers Continue

Team Peru would like to thank all those who made the incredible desserts provided. We would also like to thank all those who attended our first lunch, all donations made, and all those who have helped. We are truly blessed to be part of such a loving church family. So again, we want to thank Jerry Greene, Jerry Crump, George Carroll, Ray Smith, Larry Helderman, Steve Hedrick, and Bob Knight for putting together all the chairs, boards, and TV’s. They continue to bless us with their service! Thank God for those men!

Shoebox NewsFirst, let me say a word of thanks to each one of you who called, sent cards, or asked about Julia’s knee surgery she had on April 19th. We thank Mary Lindsay for the delicious meal she brought that night. We thank Peggy and Wayne Wilkie for delivering a beautiful Sonshine Basket filled with great stuff from the Nursery and Mission Friends on the Sunday after her surgery. We are so blessed to be a part of such a loving, caring church family.Because of Julia’s surgery your Worker Bees took a week off last Wednesday so we could have some much needed rest and recovery time. We have been wrapping and hope to be back to packing full swing this Wednesday. Our prayer continues to be that our boxes will help the children who receive them learn about Jesus and accept Him as their Savior. Play dough, colorful socks, Band-Aid’s, Kleenex, soap, washcloths, flash lights, footballs, and marbles all top our want list this week. May God bless you all, Linda Rash

It’s time to play Family Feud! June 9th

The Toy Store is pitting family against family and member against member for a fun evening of entertainment. Join us on June 9th in the Life Center. We will include a dinner of salad and potato bar and desserts. Tickets will be $10 per person with a max of $25 per household.Meanwhile we need your help. We need to survey 100 of you for the games. However, you cannot discuss the questions with anyone from the Alley, Anderson, Lackey, Kirby, Penny or Winkler families. Forms will be available after morning services while they last.
