It seems we are back where we started with COVID-19, well not exactly, but its stirring things up again. The fear, anxious thoughts, and unknowns are back. And to top it off, school is starting. Well, let me remind all of us that our God is still greater than all our fears and anxie- ties. He promises to never leave us or forsake us. He commands us to not be afraid, but to be strong and courageous! (Deuteronomy 31:6). Let s all remind our- selves what God has already brought us through! Cast your anxiety on Him (1 Peter 5:7). Remember to look back and see the great things God has already done and how He has brought us through the past year and a half. I know its tough and I know theres a lot of negative things we could remember about the last year and a half. But, I al- so know theres a lot of great things we can remember, too! Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things! (Philippians 4:8). As a parent, I feel like Im always anxious and negative, so I totally get it. But, together, lets go back to our God and His word that is full of promises of His goodness. Re- member what Hes done in your life. Cling to that, knowing He has your hand and will never let go!
