MEET & GREET AT THE NETWORKING EVENTSIn addition to training courses, we have arranged two exciting networking events aimed at providing you with the opportunity to get to know your fellow participants and trainers while soaking up the city’s amazing culture.
Welcome reception IMonday, 17:30–18:30
Bordeaux City Hall, Palais Rohan, 1 Place Pey Berland, 33000 Bordeaux, France.
This event is kindly hosted by the Bordeaux City Council and is free for all participants (no registration is required).
How to get thereBy tram: From the main entrance of the university, cross the Victoire square and go the Victoire tram station. Take tram line B, in the direction of ‘Berges de la Garonne’ or ‘Cité du Vin’, and get off at the ‘Hôtel de Ville’ station (two stops). Cross the Pey Berland square. The Bordeaux City Hall is located behind the Saint-André Cathedral. Please go to the main entrance, next to ‘Le Café Rohan’. The journey takes around 10 minutes.On foot: From the main entrance of the university, cross the Victoire square, walk along the ‘Cours Pasteur’ street on the right, and simply follow the tram route until you reach the ‘Hôtel de Ville’ tram station. Cross the Pey Berland square. The Bordeaux City Hall is located behind the Saint-André Cathedral. Please go to the main entrance, next to ‘Le Café Rohan’. The journey takes around 20 minutes.

Leyteire Hall and gardens (weather permitting), Campus Victoire, the University of Bordeaux.
This Welcome reception and the museum visit are free for all participants (no registration is required). A guided tour of the University’s Ethnography museum will start at 18:15.

PRACTICAL INFORMATIONCATERINGCoffee will be served daily between 10:30–11:00 and 15:00–15:30 in the Leyteire Hall. Lunch will be served between 12:30–13:30 in the Atrium located at the entrance of the Campus Victoire building. To enjoy a coffee before the Academy starts, visit the Leyteire gardens cafeteria, open from 08:00. Please note that cash payment is required at the garden cafeteria.
CLOAKROOM A cloakroom will be available in the building. For secu-rity reasons, suitcases and big backpacks have to be deposited in the cloakroom. Other belongings can be brought to the classrooms, which will be locked during coffee breaks and lunches. Please take with you any valuable items at the end of the day. The EAIE is not liable for any loss or theft.
FIRST AIDIf you require medical assistance, please contact a member of the EAIE staff at the Information desk in the Atrium, or in the EAIE Office located on the ground floor.
NAME BADGEPlease wear your name badge at all times, including during the networking events. Without your name badge, you will not be granted access to the venue.
WIRELESS INTERNETFree wireless internet is available throughout the venue.

FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT CARDAll Academy participants receive a free travel card kindly provided by Bordeaux Métropôle. These cards can be used for busses and tramway in Bordeaux. Please note that every time you use a route on the network, you must validate your ticket, even if you are just changing services otherwise you risk incurring a hefty penalty. Information and timetables can be found on this website www.infotbm.com.
