For more information please see www.bcna.org.au Curling your hair • To curl your hair forwards: • Take up a section about 2-3cm wide and place it between the 2 heating plates, near the roots of your hair. (fig.1) • Turn the Straight 2 Curl 180 degrees downwards. (fig.2) • Slowly guide the Straight & Curl by rotating over the length of the section from the roots to the tips, ensuring to hold the ends of hair for a firm grip/tension. (fig.3) • Remove the Straight & Curl and use your fingers to twist the section again so that it takes its natural position. (fig.4) • Repeat if necessary. • You may wish to set the curls with a light mist of hairspray. • After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow to cool before storing away. Note: when you are using the appliance, you might see some steam. • Do not be concerned, this could be because of evaporation of the sebum, some residual hair products (leave-in hair care, hairspray, etc.) or excess water that is evaporating from your hair. IMPORTANT This is a high heat appliance at 235°C. If your hair has been heavily bleached or is chemically treated or you are concerned with the condition of your hair, please consult your hairdresser before using this appliance. Curling your hair

USER MAINTENANCEYour Straight & Curl is designed for household use and is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. This product represents the highest standards of workmanship and engineering research. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power outlet. Allow the appliance to cool and wipe exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the appliance, allow to cool and return to your place of purchase.

DIAMOND RADIANCE TECHNOLOGYThis styler has been created with Diamond Radiance Technology. This means the plates are coated with a ceramic which is 50% smoother and 20% harder than a standard ceramic*, providing diamond like luxuriously smooth perfection and brilliant results.

Diamond Radiance technology has properties that help to reduce your hairs’ static electricity by generating negatively charged ions, closing the hair cuticle & minimizing static electricity. It will help ensure your hair is free from frizzies and ensure a smooth result every-time.

LOCKING SYSTEMThe locking system is used to hold the plates together when the straightener is not in use for easy and convenient storage. After use, turn the styler off and allow to cool. Hold the straightener handle together and slide the locking switch across to secure the plates. To unlock, simply slide the locking switch in the other direction.

TIP: heating up your straightener in the locked plate position will give you a faster heat up time.

AUTO-OFF SYSTEMThis styler has an automatic safety cut off system which will automatically turn your styler off if left on accidentally for 72 minutes. If this occurs, please wait for your styler to cool. Switch off and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord back in and switch the styler on to start using your styler again.
