We know that at the moment whilst you’re not able to see many of your friends and relatives, hearing from your parent’s workplace probably isn’t top of your list….but we’ve got something really important to say. We want to say a massive thank you for being part of the Northern Care Alliance team (aka the NCA team). You may not realise it but your parent/loved one is a complete legend. No, really they are (they haven’t told us to write this) and we’ll tell you why we think that. Our organisation is facing one of the biggest challenges ever experienced by the NHS and your mum/dad/loved one, they are right there, ready to help us take on this fight and ensure we can help and save as many people as possible. Whether they are directly caring for patients as a doctor or nurse, processing test results, pushing poorly patients in a wheelchair, changing beds, helping worried relatives or working more behind the scenes, they are strong, brave and incredible and we couldn’t do this without them. So you’re thinking – but what’s this got to do with me? Well, we think this has got everything to do with you. Your love and support and understanding is helping your mum/ dad /loved one get through a really difficult and challenging time at work. If you’re a hugger, then just know that those are really special right now. And if you don’t hug, well, that’s fine because we know you’ve got other ways of showing you care (cleaning your room is a good one). We are aware that your parent/loved one’s job is probably really impacting on your life right now – maybe you’re still aending school whilst they come to work (sorry, about that) or perhaps they are working longer hours or have been worried at home about work. We can imagine the impact this is having on your family. You’re playing such an important role by giving them all the love, support and strength that they need – they couldn’t come in and do the fantastic job that they do without that backing at home. So once again it’s a big thank you for being part of the NCA team. ThankYou!

Dear

We hope you don’t mind us getting in touch.

We are aware that your parent/loved one’s job is probably really impacting on your life right now – maybe you’re still attending school whilst they come to work (sorry, about that) or perhaps they are working longer hours or have been worried at home about work. We can imagine the impact this is having on your family.

You’re playing such an important role by giving them all the love, support and strength that they need – they couldn’t come in and do the fantastic job that they do without that backing at home.

So once again it’s a big thank you for being part of the NCA team.
