Another Successful Curling Bonspiel!

The Fort Nelson Petroleum Association held its 45th Annual Curling Bonspiel

March 15—20, 2017. 15 teams with a total of 60 curlers participated with the

objective of having a great time, and they did!!

Again this year we held the popular team elimination draw for a weekend fishing

trip, which was won by the Fort Nelson Husky team, hope you have a great trip!!

The fishing trip was provided by Villers Air.

The bonspiel started on Wednesday with the registration night , players were wel-

comed with Appie Night. Play started on Thursday and Friday with the final

games being played on Saturday at 6:00 pm.

The final games were played on Saturday afternoon and saw some great action.

with a smile and to offer encouragement, I loved to sit and visit with Murray he always made you
