Thank you Riverside... GAC Prep Team: Liz Ditfurth, Janice Dunn, Christian Hassler, Edward Li, Sean Ollet, Josiah Paul, Nathan Paul, Rod Tashakori Results: Our thanks goes to over 820 KRCB volunteers for their helping hands and great enthusiasm in completing the following projects: The Graffiti Eradication Team used 15 gallons of paint to eradicate over 120 tags. Volunteers collected over 17,000 lbs. of litter, green waste and bulky items at 39 locations in seven Council Wards and six Business Councils throughout the city. Clean Campus Competition: (April 1 - 26) 29 Schools from Alvord Unified School District, Riverside Unified School District and Private Schools completed 659 total projects with an estimated 10,085 student participants. Clean Campus Competition students collected 3,577 lbs. of litter, recycled 6,615 lbs. of recyclable products and planted 1,599 plants to beautify their campuses.
