The Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation funds innovative curricular

technology, programs, materials, and experiences in all Minnetonka schools.

Sponsorship of the Foundation and our events improves and enhances

our public schools and allows us to do even more.

FOUNDATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE

TEACHER GRANTS

Established in 1999, our Teacher Grant program funds direct classroom grant requests for

creative, educational ideas and programs teachers would like to implement for students.

Over $1 million has been granted to Minnetonka classrooms via Teacher Grants alone.

NAMED FUNDS

The Foundation is the fiscal agent for several named funds, providing donors a personalized way

to make a direct and lasting impact on Minnetonka schools. Named funds managed by the

Foundation support youth citizenship, multi-cultural materials and experiences, fine arts, and

scholarships for summer writing, International Studies exchange travel experiences, and more.

ENDOWMENT FUND PROGRAMS

A stable, permanent source of income, the Foundation’s $1.2 million Endowment Fund allows us

to support long-term and broad impact programming.

Our newest endowed project, The Hub, supports open-ended and creative challenges around

technology, computer science, design, and engineering for all K-8 students. The 21st Century skills

and knowledge enhanced by The Hub develop Minnetonka students as agile and collaborative

problem solvers prepared for the dynamic workplaces of the future.
