Please take note of warnings in the manual before use and setup

  • We have included 2 heatsinks in your Kamikaze All in 1 controller. If you have a frame with good airflow, then you probably don’t need them, so you don’t need to put them on unless you’re running a high KV motor or closed in frame. We do recommend them and they look super cool but they aren’t necessary and we included them in your packaging as a precaution in case you wanted to use them.

If you’re running a closed in frame, such as the Kraken or GEP Flyfish, Shendrones ORCA, KORE, or Fu-RC K-HOLE you may need to add the heatsinks to help get rid of the heat, due to the reduced airflow over the ESC’s.

NB! HEATSINK installationBe careful you aren’t shorting out your solder pads with the heatsink. Solder first, then add the heatsink while checking to see if nothing is touching BEFORE powering onBe careful the heatsink isn’t resting on the capacitors and shorting them out.

  • You have 2 options for wiring up your Kamikaze board.

    • Direct solder to the solder pads to make the wiring clean. • Use the wires included in the package to wire up to your VTX and

    Cam/ reciever and LED board.

  • The board should be positioned with the SD card slot facing upwards, although this doesn’t actually matter, because you can change the position of the board in the software.

    • The 3D live simulation is in the Setup tab• The Gyro board sensor and alignment is in the Configuration page

    • If the SD card is facing upwards, change the following YAW by 90 degree increments, until the “Simulation” in the setup page follows the orientation of your quad.

  • • If you mounted the board with the ESC facing up and the SD card on the underside, then change the pitch by 90 degree increments

  • 1. First choose which UART you set up as your serial RX, and if you have a 5V RX or 3V rx you will need to join the solder tab to get 5V or 3V on UART 1 below. If you do nothing, you won’t have any voltage output onto UART 1.

  • 2. Set up your SERIAL RX port as per the UART you have joined the wire to, you can also set up your TBS smart audio on another UART if you have joined the smart audio wire to the TX port of the other UART port.

    3. Set your receiver to Serial, then choose SBUS/Spectrum or IBUS depending on the receiver you have chosen to use.

    4. Check your channel map against your radio and adjust as necessary (AETR/Futaba etc)

  • Setting up your OSD couldn’t be easier with the Betaflight OSD. Use the slider bars to turn on/off items on the OSD.

    1. If you OSD isn’t appearing, set the OSD to AUTO on the right side, where it says NTSC and PAL

    2. If your voltage is way out, go back to the configuration page and adjust the voltage scaler until the volts reads the same as your battery shows on the battery checker.

  • The Kamikaze AIO is capable of 8k/8k loop times, with DSHOT T600

NOTE **Running on these loop times are susceptible to vibration issues, we recomend to softmount your FC and/OR your motors if you’re experiencing desync or similar. **

You can also try changing your lowpass filter settings to gain more performance, but you do run the risk of burning a board or motor by changing these filter settings. https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/Gyro-&-Dterm-filtering-recommendations

Although Dshot is enabled, we don’t recommend it for higher KV motors. We experienced some minor desyncs with 2205/2305 2480 and higher Kv and dual blade props, but tri bladed props were no problem up to 2480kv motors on DSHOT T600.
