Context
In order to develop and strengthen Indo-French scientific cooperation through close
collaborations between Indian and French laboratories, in order to boost industrial research
by strong interconnections with academic institutions, Thales and IITs propose to set up a
fellowship scheme for PhD students.
In 2014, Thales DMS propose to create a Joint Fellow Ship Programme for indian PhD
students
In the first edition of this new programme, up to 4 fellowships from India will be funded.
The students benefitting from these Joint PhD fellowships will have both a PhD supervisor in
France and a PhD supervisor in India, and obtain at the end a PhD diploma from France and
India.

Based on these scientific themes and thanks to the expertise of the CNRS (INSIS, INS2I and DERCI) and the support of the french
