Project Overview
Community malls – small, semi open-air shopping malls targeting local residents – are
becoming increasingly popular in Thailand. The latest example is newly opened Rain
Hill in the Thong Lo area, a popular district among Japanese living in Bangkok. Many
of the mall’s F&B outlets are Japanese restaurants, including the first Marugame
noodle shop, a franchise brought in from Japan by the developer (Boutique Asset) of
this mall.
Anchor tenant is Wine Connection Tapas Bar and Bistro on the ground floor of the mall.
The development spans 3 storeys and 2 basement levels.
The developer plans to open another Rain Hill mall, also in the Sukhumvit area, within
the next two years. Rain Hill II will be triple the size of Rain Hill I.

Rain Hill is located on Sukhumvit Road on the corner of Soi 47, halfway between skytrain
stations Thong Lo (E6) and Ekkamai (E7).
Rain Hill features vertical green eco-conscious architecture, surrounded by tropical plants and
30-meter high rainfall walls.

The mall’s architectural design aims to make visitors feel relaxed amid a lush-green garden,
surrounded by tropical plants and 30-meter high rainfall walls.
