The oval is used in summer for cycling and in winter for junior football. The current facilities are wholly inadequate for current and intended uses ELSIE PALMER FIELD The Elsie Palmer Field is a small but well-maintained oval used almost exclusively for cricket in summer. It should be noted that the field currently extends beyond the boundary of council- owned land. The existing cricket facilities are inadequate, relocatable and temporary in their location and structure. REMOTE CONTROL TRACK The gravel track and facilities has been constructed by the club members. Support facilities are relocatable temporary structures that would be inadequate for ongoing use. NETBALL COURTS The existing asphalt netball and tennis courts have reached the end of their servable life some time ago. The courts have inadequate surface, line marking, run-offs, lighting and support facilities. BASKETBALL STADIUM/ SPORTING PAVILION The existing stadium and its support spaces were constructed by the community and is well utilised by a variety of groups, including basketball, netball, badminton, billiards and others. The court is no longer compliant with current court standards for height and run-offs for a range of sports. The support spaces are also no longer compliant with current standards for universal access. CAR PARKING The existing car-park is inadequate to service the current and future parking demand on-site. FORMAL TIP SITE Whilst a large reserve, much of the areas are steep and undevel- oped. The mounding is this location is the result of a past landfill site and quarry RESERVE Steep, exposed/shallow weathered rock features and undevel- oped landscaping.
