Monday was the first working day of the week for most workers in the world. Monday is often considered a tough day, the start to a new work week. The management of PT Citra Abadi Sejati have tried to change the mindset of employees by welcoming Monday with a positive spirit. Starting November 2015, the "Happy Monday, Happy New Week" program is held at 9 AM every Monday morning. The session begins with five minutes of stretching exercises followed by 15 minutes spent on Motivation. Biographies of famous people are shared to inspire the participants. Alternately employees share a personal experience that has motivated them and which can give positive energy to their colleagues. This activity is led by the HR and Compliance Team at PT Citra Abadi Sejati. Medical Check Up and Blood Donation

In November 2015, there were two activities related to the health of the employees of PT Citra Abadi Sejati. The first activity was the 15

th blood donation in Cileungsi unit. It was carried out in November 2015. A total of 69 employees

donated blood of which 10 of them were first-time donors.

The second activity was a free medical examination offered to all employees in Bogor unit of PT Citra Abadi Sejati. On this occasion, the management in cooperation with the local laboratory organized the health check with the focus on cervical cancer and breast cancer.

Cholestrol and Dengue Prevention Awareness

A medical check-up of all employees of PT Citra Abadi Sejati, Cileungsi Unit was carried out. Some 8 employees were diagnosed as having high-cholestrol levels. A health education program was held to educate the employees about the ill effects of cholestrol and how it can be managed through diet and lifestyle to become healthier. This event was held in November 2015 at the factory clinic.

Furthermore, in December 2015, 20 peer educators of Cileungsi unit were invited to attend counseling about prevention of dengue fever so that they can give guidance to their respective teams. Dengue fever is an acute febrile illness that is often found in tropical areas like Indonesia. The disease is transmitted to humans by the mosquito Aedes aegypti. The three main steps that are necessary to prevent breeding of mosquitos in the neighborhood is to prevent water accumulation, keeping all types of water storage containers closed and to bury waste.

New Year Celebration

The intimacy and family atmosphere within our office was enhanced with a simple New Year Celebration. The team exchanged small gifts as is traditional, to celebrate the turn of 2015 to 2016.

Better Work Grievance System

To increase the efficacy of the grievance mechanism, PT Citra Abadi Sejati together with Better Work Indonesia implemented a new system, namely BW Android or Android CAS as of 7 December 2015. Out of the 33 companies that partner with Better Work Indonesia, 10 companies were selected to use this new system and PT Citra Abadi Sejati is one of them.

Previously, PT Citra Abadi Sejati used the SMS system to receive grievances from the employees. The new system further improves the communication between factory management and the workers and is user friendly.

Work Training Ethic

The management of PT Citra Abadi Sejati conducts training on various topics including work motivation to the supervisors and operators. The training aims to refresh employee morale. There were 106 participants who attended the training held for six days.

Islamic New Year’s Welcome

In 2015, the Islamic New Year fell on October 14. To celebrate the New Year, Cileungsi unit of PT Citra Abadi Sejati held a joint prayer with ‘Hijrah Menuju Jalan Allah’ theme (Move Towards The Path of God in Indonesian language). The message was to seek forgiveness for our mistakes and to be grateful for all that we have. The event was held at the mosque at the factory and was attended by approximately 2000 employees. Management also invited one of the prominent clerics of Indonesia, to lead the event.

Heesu Foundation Visit

The Heesu Foundation is an organization focused on caring for autistic children. On a visit in the fourth quarter of 2015, Cileungsi unit of PT Citra Abadi Sejati invite the unions and cooperative management employees to attend. Donations successfully collected amounted to USD 1300. Currently, there are 10 children who are being treated at the Heesu Foundation. The physical and spiritual needs are met by the board of trustees.

Environmental Initiative Biopori Hole Project

In an effort to improve soil fertility and water absorption during the dry season in Indonesia, Cileungsi unit created 100 biopori holes in the green areas of factory in December 2015. Biopori is a hole with a diameter of 10 to 30 cm with a length of 80 cm to 100 cm which covered with organic waste. With this process we are converting the organic waste into compost while also contributing to rainwater harvesting.
