Bred heifers sell through the ring. Gary Clevland with Crystal
Waters Ranch saw
his fancy Blk Angus Bred heifers top 1975.00 with the Red Angus
Bred heifers
selling to the top of 1975.00. Dave & Rosie Wall of
Northridge Cattle saw their
Blk Angus bred heifers hit 1800.00. Ken Sevter’s beautiful Red
bred heifers hit
2200.00. Andy Meints top set of Blk bred heifers sold to
19775.00. Don Perlitz
filled the ring with a top set of Red Simm X heifers hit
1800.00.
Jerry Entzminger’s reputation Red Simm X bred heifers reached
1850.00,
the powerful Blk Simm X Bred heifers reached 1850.00. Dave &
Debbie Brace of
Guichon Creek Ranch saw their cow herd reduction reach 1700.00
on the
younger Blk bred cows, the younger Red bred cows sold to

1930.00. Today a regular sale here in Williams Lake and another

fer. The Gang Ranch today opened this powerful sale as they
showcased again
another 200 top calves. One complete liner load of 133 Blk Angus
h/c, all precon-
ditioned 424 lbs traded to 199.00. Their pen of 463 lb h/c, 47
in the group raced to
190.00. The Black Creek Ranch today saw their 506 lb s/c mark
194.00, their
469 lb h/c today saw 182.00. The Diamond Island Ranch today
showcased 150
top calves, their 633 lb Simm Angus X s/c topped their weight

Another huge sale today as just under 1900 hd of cattle hit the
show
ring. This was a feeder sale and special bred cow and heifer
sale com-
bined, and what a sale it was! The Douglas Lake Cattle Co. set
the pace
today with 400 top butcher cows and bulls. The young pen of 35,
3 year
old cows today powered to 121.50. One liner load of their 1148
lb 4 and
5 year old cows today marked 86.00. The Pine Ranch today
showcased
60 top calves from Merritt. An excellent pen of their 510 lb h/c
today
saw 172.50. Darren Dunbar of Vavenby had 458 lb Angus X h/c sell
to
176.50. Dean Barker saw his 780 lb s/c sell to 151.50 while
Beau Turner’s 648 lb Blk s/c sold to 156.25. Derek Marchand 407
lb
s/c reached 213.00, his 625 lb s/c hit 170.25. Ray & Joyce
Doll saw their
629 lb s/c top 169.25, the 730 lb s/c rolled to 156.00, and
their 518 lb
Angus X s/c hit 188.00, Doll’s 461 lb h/c hit 176.75. Brent
Deacon of
Vernon showcased a load of 627 lb Red Angus s/c at 168.25 and
their
570 lb Red h/c topped 162.25. Silver Hills Ranch had 689 lb Blk
s/c top
163.50. The 770 lb s/c sold to 157.00. Indian Gardens Ranch came
to
town with a load of 641 lb Angus X s/c which topped 168.75.
Their
reputation load of 491 lb h/c reached 172.00. The Kamloops
ring
showcased 350 hd of bred cows and bred heifers this
afternoon.
Benedict Ranch opened with their fancy Blk Angus bred heifers
sell-
ing to 1825.00. Pete & June Puhallo sold their Blk Angus 2nd
calving
breds topped 1875.00. Jim & Pat Mullin of Mullin Ranch had a
beautiful
group of Blk Angus bred heifers which sold to 1800.00. The
beautiful
cow herd dispersal sale from the Ashton Creek Ranch of Enderby
saw
their young Simm/Red influence cow herd trade to 1750.00 on
their
1108 lb 1st calf heifers, the main cow herd reaching
1800.00.
The Estate of David Oliver saw his excellent young cows
reach
1900.00 with sales of the 3 year olds reaching 2375.00.
Today
Doug & Lois Miller from Squam Bay had 606 lb Red Baldie
s/c
trade to 176.00. Joe Bedard with top quality 678 lb Blk &
Bwf notching
