Collin Sloan Period 6 Okay? Okay. (A The Fault in Our Stars Sonnet) My lungs may not work as well as do yours, But my love works as if they weren’t needed. Life acts through many crazy metaphors, First seeing you was something I heeded. We were all but a metaphor for all, Showing love comes from anyone, low or high. Yet time never gave itself a call to stall, For you were gone before my sad goodbye. Then came an end to our fond late night calls, And in came a constant oblivion. I constantly lie against the floor and walls, Waiting to see you’ve reawakened. In my head constantly plays our Okay? Okay. But will my love perish and fade? No way.

Collin Sloan Period 6

Okay? Okay.(A The Fault in Our Stars Sonnet)

My lungs may not work as well as do yours,But my love works as if they weren’t needed.

Life acts through many crazy metaphors,First seeing you was something I heeded.

We were all but a metaphor for all,Showing love comes from anyone, low or high.

Yet time never gave itself a call to stall,For you were gone before my sad goodbye.

Then came an end to our fond late night calls,And in came a constant oblivion.

I constantly lie against the floor and walls,Waiting to see you’ve reawakened.

In my head constantly plays our Okay? Okay. But will my love perish and fade? No way.
