Freidhelm Hillebrandt was where texting all began.
Hillebrandt was born in Warstein, Germany, in 1940.
Hillebrandt was a keen amateur radio enthusiast and soon
became an engineer and a technician. He helped settle on
the 160 character limit for each text sent. He was also
know as the “Father of the Text”.

The statistics of texting have gone up year after year.Texting while driving has caused many deaths and is thereason why texting while driving is banned in 35 states.Many say they know that texing while driving is dangerousbut do it anyway. About 6,000 deaths have been causedeach year because of texting while driving.
