Making a Habit of PrayingDaniel 6:10

1. Prayer is like air to our soul, to our spirit man.

2. Your prayer life is an indication of what you know about God and what you know about yourself.

3. There is a connection between faithfulness and faithfulness in prayer.

4. Enemies of habitual prayer.a. Busyness b. No one else is doing it. c. Worrying what others will think. d. Disbelief or doubt that prayer is

answered.e. Believing a break in the routine really

isn’t a big deal.f. Believing we are blessed because we

are so special.

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.
