Professor Seeks Research Assistant Seeking a graduate student research assistant to assist professorin quantitative analysis, managing and developing surveys,manuscript development, literature searches, and related duties. This grant funded position includes tuition reimbursement for fall,spring and summer and stipend of $7500 annually. This positionstarts January 2018 and will continue through May 2019 andbeyond, pending grant renewal. African Americans in ParisDr. Sharon Austin, Director of the African American StudiesProgram and Associate Professor of Political Science, is teachingan African Americans in Paris class during spring break 2018.Students can earn 2-3 hours of credit hour and the course is opento all students, all majors, and to both graduate andundergraduate students. In Paris, we will visit a number of historicsites of significance to African Americans. The $2846 cost forundergraduates doesn't include airfare, but does include lodging,some meals, transportation in Paris, and tickets to all of the sitevisits.
