has been absent whether make-up work is allowed
and whether absences jeopardize the student’s
standing in a class.

student who is reported for non-attendance will be
dropped from those classes.

re-instatement, the instructor will submit a request
in writing for the re-instatement to the Dean of the
School or College. If the Dean approves the request
for reinstatement, the Dean of the School or College
will submit in writing to the Registrar’s Office to allow

The Alma Mater
VerseThe air is filled as our voices ringFrom earth to the heav’ns above.
with voices raised, we’re singing praise,To the school we dearly love.
RefrainHail! Hail! Hail! to Texas Southern;Hail, to our dear Maroon and Gray.
Undivided we will standBy the greatest in the land.T-S-U, T-S-U, we love you.
All roads lead to Texas Southern,Paved with light for one and all.
T-S-U’re a shining star,And we’re proud of what you are,
T-S-U, T-S-U, we love you.
Hail! Hail! Hail! to Texas Southern;Hail to our Chiefs in reverence we sing.
In our hearts you’ll always stayAs you lead us on our way,T-S-U, T-S-U, we love you.
