BriefWe were asked to produce a mail out for Bravo’s traders. This would be promoting a new show called “the real football factories” starring Danny Dyer. Other requirements were to identify the Bravo brand with a design that was cool & edgy.
IdeaThe idea was to create a bravo branded shoe box containing personalised football boots. The design of the box is inkeeping with the show’s context of football hooliganism.

BriefTo create and produce a brand book for Innovate who work as a brand management company within the Exposure group. My role was to create the ‘case study cards’ which would be placed inside the books slip case.
ResultThe case studies show clear examples of the brands that have been associated with Innovate and therefore can be used as an advertising tool to gain new business from other brands in need of improvement.

BriefTo advertise ‘Living On The Edge’ shown on MTV and raise awareness of the program. We aimed to produce creative that would differentiate this reality show from competitors.
IdeaThe direction was to create a juztaposition highlighting the the show’s characters in relation to their poor surroundings.

BriefTo advertise ‘Totally Jodie Marsh’ on MTV raising awareness of the program and subject of the show.
IdeaWe felt to answer the brief was to highlight Jodie Marsh being... Jodie Marsh and play on the already formed public perception of her. Taking Jodie in her ‘wedding‘ dress hands on head in bewilderment and despair and shoot her against the background of a wedding reception. We combined her with the show title ‘Who’ll take her up the aisle.

BriefTo produce Sales Notes for B2B advertising promoting the new series of Dirty Sanchez. The title “Behind The Seven Sins” implied that this series is so dark and sadistic, it’s practically satanic.
IdeaUsing existing Dirty Sanchez illustrations drawn by David Bray, I created a double page layout containing all relavent information regarding the upcoming DVD and a 3D mock up of the new box set.

BriefTo advertise the return of Mike Strutter, in his new series on MTV.
IdeaStrutter’s back! and even more offensive than the last series. Taking elements and design techniques from previous Strutter media I created a press advert for B2B publishing highlighting the popular vulgarity associated with this show.

BriefProduce a creative to promote MTV2’s Gonzo Tour.
IdeaWe felt the irreverent, alternative nature of Gonzo was perfectly captured by the illustration style of Adam Pointer. We worked closely with him to produce this highly individual & iconic typograpy-led creative.

BriefWorking in groups of 4, you are to design, develop and present proposals for a cup to fit within the cup holder for the new Saab 93. You will need to deliver a solution which is physically desirable, functional as a drinking vessel, functional as an object which is held and can be easily docked in its holder.
The DV93 is a thermos cup specifically designed for the SAAB 93 cup holder.
ResultThe design was awarded 2nd place in a competition and was praised by SAAB for its ergonomic shape & attention to detail. The appearance and materials used in the design are in - k eeping with the SAAB automotive interior. The unique opening and anti spill functions are demonstrative of a successful design process inspired by usability.

“How to get the most out of the least”
Design an object to hold/support/contain something that we use in the home or office. There must be only one mould, but that mould can contain more than one shape.
Result
Two designs, one commercial the other domestic. Plywood tables made from one mould. Both table’s primary functions are magazine storage.

Brief“Furniture For Real Environments”
Many homes & apartments have a limited amount of space, which can make creating storage for a home/study area difficult. Design a storage solution for the home or office area which makes innovative use of ceiling &/or wall space.
ResultThe MEMO MIRROR provides an idealstorage solution for small items and documents. As a domestic product the mirror receives more attention than a pin board or a whiteboard, therefore providing more suitable foundation for a memo/storage device. The design took inspiration from the common behavior of sticking items to the surface of a mirror. The rubber frame allows for temporary storage to be performed effortlessly.
