Symptom

Either no data or incomplete data is returned during the HR DataSource extraction.

Reason and Prerequisites

The user (for example, ALEREMOTE) under which the extractor is started in the source system (R/3 OLTP) does not contain all of the required authorizations. The extractors partly use the standard logic in which you cannot set parameters for the authorization check. Therefore, the extraction user, like a user of the relevant R/3 component must have the necessary authorizations.

Solution

Depending on the relevant applications that you need, add the following authorizations to the extraction user:

l Payroll (PY):

For example, DataSource 0HR_PY_1, 0HR_PY_PP_1 P_PCLX (is part of P_BAS_ALL)

l Time management (PT):

For example, DataSource 0HR_PT_1, 0HR_PT_2, 0HR_PT_3 P_PCLX (is part of P_BAS_ALL) Cluster B2 - Time evaluation results Cluster PC - Leave deduction data

l Organizational Management (PA-OS):

For example, DataSource 0HR_PA_OS_1, 0ORGUNIT_ATTR, 0ORGUNIT_HR01_HIER, 0HRPOSITION_ATTR, 0CRM_HR_PA_OS_1, 0CRM_ORGUNIT_HR01_HIER, 0CRM_POSITION_ATTR P_PLAN_ALL and P_BAS_ALL

l Personnel Development (PA-PD):

For example, DataSource 0HR_PA_PD_1, 0HR_PA_PD_2, 0QUALIFICTN_HR01_HIER P_PLAN_ALL

l Personnel Administration (PA-PA):

For example, DataSource 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR P_BAS_ALL

l Benefits (PA-BN):

For example, DataSource 0HR_PA_BN_1 P_BAS_ALL

l Compensation Management (PA-CM):
