223 Hours worked in total for the month

Experience gained in : Crew Office, Reception, Shorex, Cruise

Department, Housekeeping, Public Rooms, Restaurant, Provisions,

Galley and the Pursers Office. Lawrence was able to spend a few

days within each of these departments where he decided that the

right path for him was Food and Beverage.

xperience gained in : Lawrence continued to work in the Pursers Office for a

week and then worked in the galley for the remaining month where he rotated

around the kitchen to gain basic experience in all areas. He was able to work in

the cold pantry, butchery, fishmonger, roast, veg, potatoes, hot appetiser, dish

washer, pot wash, soup, sauces, pastry, bakery and the veranda.

xperience gained in : Mainly Food and Beverage again however Lawrence was

required to work with the bar staff on board and in the Provisions Department. Mid

way through the month he disembarked the Quest for Adventure and joined the

Saga Sapphire for a week where he also worked in the Provisions Department.

Experience gained in : Lawrence spent some time in head

office and then was able to go home for a period of time

before embarking the Saga Sapphire's Crew Office.

Lawrence worked every single day throughout October and this

shows his commitment to pursuing a career in this industry.
