Welcome to the very first edition of “The Community”; a magazine devoted to the Chandler Mowat Neighbourhood. Like a hot cup of tea on a cold January day this magazine is the place for those who are settled. What does that mean? Well, this magazine is for those who are connected into the Chandler Mowat Community. So whether you live, volunteer, work, or cheer from a distance this your place to stay informed.

The Community will provide indepth information from a variety of sources. You will find resources from a variety of guest “experts”. Information and bios from House of Friendship staff at Chandler Mowat Community Centre. Program information for each session will be included as well as upcoming community events. There will be articles from volunteers, community partners, interesting discussions on how we serve our community and most importantly information on how you can contribute.

So sit down relax, make your tea and take a moment. Follow the community that is Chandler Mowat because you are as much a part of us as we are of you.
