RefWorks 1ADD YOUR REFERENCES
To Add Manually • Select > References > Add New or select the New Reference tab
• Select > View Last Imported Folder to see the record
To Import From UNL Catalog • Select > WebBridge > Import to RefWorks
From other databases • Select > Export Citation or Export to Refworks
• Select > View Last Imported Folder to see the record
• Manage and organize your citations and references for your assignments and research
• Format your citations and references in MLA, APA or any other format.
•Download citations from articles, databases and other electronic resources.
• Use Write -N-Cite plug in to pull citations into your paper as you type.
• Access your citations and documents anytime, anywhere.

• Select > New Folder
• Enter a name in New Folder Name; click OK
• Select > View > All References or the References Tab
• Mark/Select the references
• Select the folder from GRAPHIC? the Folder drop-down
menu
EDIT YOUR REFERENCES AND ATTACH FILES
• Select a reference in your database; click on Edit GRAPHIC?
• Edit the reference. Scroll down to Attachments
• Choose a file to a ttach. Select Open
• Click on Save Reference

• Open your Word document
• Downlad, Launch & Login to Write-N-Cite
(Code Needed from Write-N-Cite Page for the first time only)
• Put the cursor in your Word document where the reference
should be inserted
• Select Citation Format and Citation from Write-N-Cite Bar
• Select Save
CREATE YOUR BIBLIOGRAPHY• Select the Create Bibliography button
• Select an output format (i.e., APA, MLA, etc.)
• Select Format a Bibliography from a List of References
• Select the file type you want to create
• Select to format all of your references or only those from a
specific folder
• Click Create Bibliography
• A new window will open with your bibliography
• Save your bibliography to your computer
