OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We are in service to all segments of the Jewelry industrythrough testing, research, consulting, practical workshops,
webinars, conferences, and training.
We used this quiet time for business due to pandemic to do testing of our 50 samples oflab-grown diamonds on 7 portable instruments on the market for Screening and ID.Please see a link to extended abstract by Branko Deljanin on “Comparative analysis ofdetection portable instruments for screening and ID of Lab-Grown Diamonds” thatsuppose to be delivered at MGJC in May 2020 here
Short Report on Tucson Show, February 4-9th, 2020.
Even that some Asian buyers did not show up, the Tucson show was busy, and we had goodtraffic at booth 63. Branko Deljanin was lecturing seminar with workshop, based on a new bookby B. Deljanin and J. Chapman: “ID of GREEN GEMS with Portable Instruments”. All 100printed booklets were sold and now it is possible to order a printed version for $35 and a digitalversion of this and 3 other booklets/workshop manuals by B. Greece, Mediterranean Gem and JewelleryConference
POSTPONED to late summer 2020
As many more people affected with coronavirus worldwide and most of the Europeancountries are closing borders or cancelingincoming flights of "non-citizens" we are forcedto postpone MGJ Conference scheduled forMay 15th-17th. We are looking into the August2020 for new dates of MGJC in Thessalonikibut will announce dates only when coronavirusstop spreading. Great program with manyworkshops and field trips is offered around theconference. Once most of us come out ofquarantine we might use some extra daysaround the Conference at the end of warmsummer in Northern Greece to meet oldfriends, retreat and rejuvenate.

Focus is on ‘ID of Natural, Treated andSynthetic Diamonds (colourless and coloured)with Standard and Advanced portableInstruments’. Workshop is designed for USand Canadian dealers, gemologists andappraisers. They will learn to identify differenttypes of diamonds and synthetic diamondsbased on pattern seen under Cross-PolarizedFilters (CPF). Branko will use ‘SyntheticDiamond ID Kit’ (above) and EXA diamonddetector on 70+ natural, treated and lab-growndiamonds.
