Lastolite: they aim to light dark spots on subjects and diffuse unwanted shadows

Barn Doors: these are lights with shutters which can alter the position of lighting.

Using Key lighting, lights up the subject but also creates a shadow. Using a red gel we added a red effect on the image.

This mid close up, we tried to light one side of the subjects face and on the other side create a dark side. We also used a green gel to change the colour balance to green.

Using fill lighting we created a mid shot of the subject with a close up of the subjects hand, we also used a green gel to diffuse the light.

Using key lighting and a red gel we tried to create a shadow and also creating a light and dark sides on the subjects face.
