  • What is test bias?

    Different definitions represent commitments to ethical viewpoints about the way one should treat certain groups

    Unqualified individualism (a testing and selection program is fair if it selects the best-suited people, regardless of group)

    Quotas (selection of members from different racial and ethnic groups according to their proportions in the general population)

    Qualified individualism (a compromise between unqualified individualism and quotas)
