I am writing to you about your application for the MSc in Accounting and

Finance which has been evaluated.

As stated on our website, http://www.business-school.ed.ac.uk/msc/accounting-finance/

student-profile the School considers maintaining a diverse student cohort

to be of the greatest importance in enhancing the international student

experience, and we therefore aim to limit the proportion of students from

any one country. With reference to current offers and acceptances for this

programme, it has recently become clear that the upper limit has now been

reached for applicants of your nationality and due to the limited number of

places available; we cannot currently make you an offer for the programme

in 2010.

However, if you wish, you may be added to a waiting list, and if a

place becomes available at a later date, we may be able to consider

your application. Alternatively, you may wish your application to be

considered for 2011 entry. If you do not wish to take up either of these

options your application fee will be refunded to you and your application

will be withdrawn. Please indicate your preference within 2 weeks of

receipt of this email to msc@business-school.ed.ac.uk.
