The Main Screen

The main screen is the first screen displayed and shows the state of the car and climate system.

Charge State The band around the edge of the screen(from around 8 o’clock to 4’ o’clock position) shows the battery charge state.

The first (green) area shows the current level of charge in the battery, where 100% charge would be shown by the whole band being green.  The red area shows how much more charge is required until the current set charge level is hit.  When not charging, the current charge level is shown by a small black marker.

When charging, the charge power and amount of charge added is indicated on the text on the main screen.

Vehicle Status The vehicle status is indicated by the graphical display of the car shown on the main screen.  In the examples above, the car is locked (indicated by the padlock on the car) and the climate system is off (indicated by the OFF text on the car).

If the any parts of the climate system are active, they will be shown with red markers  in the example above, the front screen demister is active.  Seat heaters, front and read demisters and the fan state are indicated on the vehicle image.  The state of the 4 doors, trunk and frunk are indicated with yellow overlays when they are open.

Communication Indicators  When the widget is communicating with the Tesla servers, you will see a change in colour of the status indicators at the bottom of the screen.  These indicators appear on most screens within the widget.

These markers show the state of the information contained within the widget, and are organised as follows (from left to right):

Access Token (information obtained after login)  Vehicle List (the list of vehicles)  Charge State (levels, current, voltage, range etc)  Climate State (temperatures, heating settings, seat heaters etc)  Vehicle State (doors, frunk, trunk etc)  GUI Settings (primarily for miles/km setting)

The colours of these indicators are:

Red: Information is missing or invalid  Orange: Information is being updated  Green: Information is valid

In the example above, the first two indicators are green, meaning the Access Token and Vehicle List information up to date and valid.  The last 4 indicators are orange, meaning information about the state of the car (charge, climate, general vehicle and user interface) is being updated.  For certain operations, you will also see a blue band at the top of the screen indicating the process currently in operation  in the example above, the text is “Updating...”
