Terry has been rockin’ since 1957 when he formed the Jack O’ Dia-
monds Skiffle group. After teaming up with his sister they became
known as PATTI BROOK and The DIAMONDS They appeared on TV’s
CAROLL LEVIS DISCOVERIES and won DISC Music paper’s VOCAL
GROUP OF THE YEAR 1960. They toured nationwide with EMILE
FORD and The CHECKMATES and THE SHADOWS.
In 1962 Terry was bass guitarist and backing vocalist for Ex Shadow
JET HARRIS and the JETBLACKS, singing with Jet on the hit “SOME
PEOPLE”. They toured with LITTLE RICHARD, SAM COOK, GENE
VINCENT and DEL SHANNON. After leaving Jet Harris, Terry and THE
JETBLACKS toured Germany and UK dance venues including the famous
CAVERN CLUB and appeared at THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL supporting
DUSTY SPRINGFIELD and THE ROLLING STONES.
In 1964 Terry was bass guitarist and vocalist for a London based
R n B band with gigs at THE MARQUEE and 100 CLUB Oxford St. He
made two singles with EMI COLUMBIA renamed TONY BROOK & THE
BREAKERS appearing on ITV’s “THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS“ with his
own R n B composition “MEANI GENIE”.
Turning to comedy impressions in the late 60’s he became frontman
with the ROCKIN BERRIES from 1970 to ‘76 with many TV appearances,
a national tour with SACHA DISTEL, OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN and
STEPHANE GRAPPELLI followed by two seasons at The LONDON PALLA-
DIUM. Supporting TOM JONES and FRANKIE VAUGHEN.
After a 10 year spell as a solo artiste he re-joined the ROCKIN BERRIES
from 1986 to 1996. He then began providing vocals and record produc-
tions from his own studio for many JIVE BUNNY albums particularly their
popular CHRISTMAS albums.
