For Immediate Release February 6, 2018 Terri LeGrand Makes It Official With Filing Celebration WINSTON-SALEM, NC – On February 12 at noon, Terri LeGrand will file paperwork at the Board of Elections to make official her intent to run for NC House of Representatives for District 74. Terri LeGrand has been working to grow her campaign organization, volunteers and constituent connections since last November. She intends to celebrate her filing with a group of supporters on hand at the event next Monday. “I am honored to submit my paperwork and make my candidacy official. It’s an exciting time for candidates in North Carolina. As we have seen in other states, the people want elected representatives that care about the problems they are facing every day and are serious about working hard to find common-sense solutions. We have a lot of shared values, and I want to represent those values for the good people of District 74, working hard to put my constituents - and those without a voice - first,” says LeGrand. LeGrand has called Forsyth County home since 2004, when she moved here to raise her family, work and serve her community. She has spent her career advocating for at-risk youth and their families and for students. She has seen first- hand the struggles families go through to make ends meet, to manage exorbitant health-care costs, and to send their children to college. She wants to bring her experience solving real-life problems to build a better North Carolina and move our state forward. LeGrand looks forward to connecting with her constituents and welcomes all to attend her filing at the Board of Elections building. Details on LeGrand’s filing event can be found on her Facebook page. The Committee to Elect Terri LeGrand welcomes the support of all people interested in volunteering for the campaign, contributing to fundraising and spreading the word about the candidate through social media. Terri is running for office in District 74. The incumbent is Debra Conrad. More details on the campaign can be found at https://www.terrilegrand.org/.
