MANUFACTURE: TerraPave® flags are manufactured from speciallyselected granite and other natural aggregates.Their exceptional appearance is achieved byusing the most up-to-date manufacturing andfinishing equipment. Available in both a groundand textured finish.

TRAFFICKING:TerraPave® flags are available in a range of sizesand thicknesses from 50mm - 80mm to suit avariety of public realm and traffickingapplications. For more information on selectionof suitable flag sizes and depths contact ourTechnical Department.

NOTES: During installation care should be taken to protect the productfrom wet and dark base sand, dirt and detritus while remainingconstruction works are completed. To ensure the flags remain ingood condition, regular cleaning is essential after installation.

Care should be taken to ensure the chosen bedding and jointingmaterials will not stain the surface of the paving units. AGrecommends the use of appropriately graded coarse aggregatesfor bedding and jointing. As a general rule, grey or silver colouredjointing materials work well for dark grey and silver colouredflagstone units. For more information contact our Technical Dept.

TerraPave® flags are manufactured using natural stone which canvary slightly in tone. Where possible it is advised to order from thesame production run to avoid the possibility of tone variations(shading).

Like all quality concrete products with a high cement content,TerraPave® Flags can display the effects of efflorescence.Sometimes known as ‘white bloom’, this naturally occurringphenomenon will disappear over time and does not effect thestructural integrity of the flag.

Care should be taken when handling TerraPave® Flags. Duringtransport and delivery some ‘chipping’ (up to 5%) can be expected.These can be used for cuts and detailing.
