Terms & Conditions

1. All Payments in the form of Online Payment through Debit/Credit card, Netbanking, Current dated A/C Payee Cheque(s) or Demand Dra s only. 2. All rates are inclusive of VAT and Service Tax as applicable on the date of Sales Order. Any change in the taxes as on date of Invoice will

be borne by customer.

3. Cheque / DD should be drawn in favour of Home Solutions Service Provider (HSSP) as mentioned on this Sales Order. All cheques should

be payable locally.

4. The HSSP reserves the right to stop the said work if amount is not credited in the account prior to commencement of work. 5. Rates mentioned in this Sales Quotation will be valid for a period of 30 days from the date of this Sales Quotation, unless the Estimated

Closure Date mentioned in the Sales Order exceeds 30 days.

6. Sales Quotation will cover only the areas mentioned in this copy. Any amendment / changes to the said Sales Quotation will be carried out

only upon issuance of a fresh Sales Quotation by the HSSP.

7. All payments will be appropriated to the HSSP even in case where the said Sales Order is cancelled or changed.

8. Customer shall make the site available, free from all hindrances, exclusively to the applicators for carrying out the said works, until completion. All

deadlines for project completion are subject to the customer handing over the site fit to start painting work. HSSP will not be held liable for any delay

due to delay in handing over the site or a ributable to intervention on some other agency such as carpenter, plumber, civil contractor, etc. 9. Painting methodology as highlighted in the Sales Order shall be followed. 10. For all jobs executed by the HSSP, a warranty certificate shall be issued by Asian Paints. The warranty will be 1 year or 3 years sliding,

based on the finish selected in the Sales Order.

11. For work related to damp proofing, Asian Paints Liability shall only be restricted to the areas where treatment has been done with Asian

Paints Smart Care range of products. On this 1 year warranty shall be provided by Asian Paints. All other areas, where such a treatment

has not been carried out, shall be outside the purview of Asian Paints warranty. 12. The Warranty Certificate and the final Invoice issued by the HSSP shall be given to the Customer a er completion of the said work. 13. All claims for rework during the warranty period shall be subject to inspection of site by authorized Asian Paints and /or HSSP Representatives. 14. Liability is limited to repainting the affected areas only, which is subject to the Warranty terms and conditions. 15. Asian Paints or the HSSP are not liable for any direct or indirect responsibility save and except what is mentioned herein. 16. Aforesaid terms and conditions are not subject to any change unless duly amended or altered by Asian Paints in writing. 17. All disputes are subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction only. 18. Kindly retain this document for all future communications.

as the market practices differ from centre to centre; the lowest values prevailing may be taken for actual calculation centre wise.

(Based on IS 1200, Part 13 & 15 and normal methods adopted by the applicators)

INTERIOR AREA

Walls

Measure the width,length & height of the wall.

For example, assume length 20 , width 12 , & height 8 .

Then for 2 walls - length (2 x 20’) , 2 walls – width (2 x 12’) & height (1 x 8’)

Therefore the paintable area is (40+24) x 8 = 512 sq. .

Doors

-Paneled doors (Wooden)

Area calculated (height x breadth) x 2.5

-Partially Glazed (Glass) Steel Doors

Application Process

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Sand the surface to remove loose particles and dust. Once that is done,

dent-filling and minor crack-filling need to be done.

Painting systems are in combinations of undercoats and topcoats. Each painting

system details the number of top coats and undercoats that are required.

Step 2: Apply Undercoats

Undercoats are Primer (which help in binding the top coats), Pu y (which

helps in smoothening the surface), SmartCare range of waterproofing or

sealing products or sealer coats in case of wood finishes.

Undulations cannot be covered by pu y. POP application must be done in

such a case.

a. For fresh painting: Pu y application is required. b. For Repainting- Pu y application may or may not be required.

Step 3: Apply Topcoats

Top coats are emulsions in case of interiors or exteriors, like Royale &

Apex Ultima. In case of metal, they could be water-based enamels like

Royale Enamel or solvent-based enamels. For wood finishes, they could

be water-based or solvent based transparent coats like PU.

Examples of Fresh & Repainting systems:

1. Fresh Painting System: Eg. Royale Luxury Emulsion Fresh (2 PCP + 3 Royale) means

a. Sanding/ scraping of walls to remove loose dust particles, dent-filling and minor crack-filling b. Preparing the surface with 2 coats of Primer-Cum-Pu y and c. Applying 3 coats of Royale Luxury Emulsion to get the desired sheen and finish.

2. Repainting system: Eg. Premium Emulsion Repaint (1 Primer + 2 PE) means a. Sanding/ scrapping of walls to remove loose dust particles, dent-filling and minor crack-filling b. Preparing the surface with 1 coat of Primer c. Applying 2 coats of Premium Emulsion to get
