SCHOOL RESUMES ON MONDAY 8TH OCTOBER AT 8.40AM
Dear Parents/Carers,
Term III has been a very busy term. Class Masses and Prayer Services, school camps, excursions, incursions, whole
school sports day, Father’s Day activities and preparations for ‘Alice in Wonderland’ – the list goes on. I would like to
thank the whole school community for all your efforts. Students, families and staff are to be congratulated for the support
they have given our school community.
It was great to have our Preps returning to school last Tuesday in their pyjamas with torches and their special toys. Thanks
to Miss Zahra, Ms Tania, Mrs Gallus, Miss Micallef, Mrs Azarnikow, Mr Patrick, Ms Mareta, Ms Libby and Ms Cathy for
giving of their time to supervise the children.
A reminder that tickets are now on sale for our production “Alice in Wonderland”. Please use the link
https://www.trybooking.com/XGCO to purchase tickets. Please note that tickets are selling very fast – there are only 40
tickets available for October 19 – there are over 100 tickets available for each performance on October 16 and 17.
At the end of the newsletter, there is a note to be returned to school advising us if your children will not be returning to
St. Paul’s in 2019. Please return it to school promptly if your children are not returning next year as we are beginning to
plan for 2019.
Please remember that Term III ends on Friday 21st September at 1.00pm. After school care will operate from 1.00pm until
6.00pm. Term IV commences on Monday 8th October at 8.40am.
I will be at a Principal conference for the remainder of the week. Please see Ms Cathy Doran if you have any concerns.
Have a wonderful holiday – we look forward to seeing you all at the commencement of Term IV. We are very excited
about our production ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
Yours sincerely,
Damian Casamento
