2019 FEES
As costs continue to increase in providing educational resources and facili-ties we have had to schedule a fee increase to meet the ongoing cost of providing Catholic Education in the Glenroy Parish. We have tried to keep the fee increase minimal (but realistic in meeting our financial needs) so as not to increase financial hardship on families. An overall $25 increase will be implemented for 2019. This is an average increase of 60 cents per week over the school year. Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.
FEE YEAR TUITION FEE FAMILY FEE 2019 $325 ($225 plus $105 Swimming Levy) per child $825 per family
Year 5-6 Camp will be held at Oasis Camp Mt Evelyn in May Cost $250 per child (TBC).
Please note that as swimming is now a compulsory requirement of the government for all schools, swimming costs have been included in our Tuition Fee. Swimming is no longer a separate fee. Healthcare Card holders are eligible to apply for the CSE allowance (currently $125 )which is deducted from Tuition Fee
We will restructure our payment schedule to enable families to budget for fees payment. Eg. Tuition Fee Week One of Term One, First Family Fee instalment commencement of Term 2 Second Instalment commencement of Term 3, Third Instalment commencement of Term 4

It is vital that families who are leaving Corpus Christi advise us
immediately so we can plan accordingly.
Families will be notified of their child’s 2019 classroom teachers when they receive their child’s end of year report.
We are extremely fortunate at Corpus Christi Primary School to have a group of wonderfully talented, dedi-
cated and committed teachers and staff. We ask all children and parents to continue to support us through
your continued cooperation and positive attitude to learning.

COMMUNICATION: A reminder that if any parent has any concerns regarding their child (e.g. health,
academic, emotional, social, learning, expectations), please contact the relevant people/teacher to convey your concerns. We wish to foster open communication and trust. Please remember that teachers are responsible for children once the bell has been rung, so an appointment should be made to find a suitable time to meet. Teachers shouldn’t be approached to discuss concerns during class time. If you have a concern of a more gen-
RECESS & LUNCH TIME PICK UP: If you need to pick your child up between 11.00am - 11.30am or
1.00pm - 2.00pm for an appointment or family matter could you please do so before or after these times
as children are difficult to locate in the yard and classrooms are locked and bags are inaccessible.
“NO SHOW-LET US KNOW!” In light of recent changes to attendance guidelines following an incident late last year of a child hiding in their parent’s car all day, unbeknown to the parent, resulting in serious heat related injuries, we are continuing our current practice of contacting parents to ensure the safe arrival at school of all children, especially those children who walk or ride to school without adult supervision. If your child is absent from school we request you inform our School Office of their non-attendance by 9.00am on the day of absence using the following methods
Email Child’s name and class to: [email protected] OR Contact School Office 9306 3062 / 9306 3322 If your child is marked as absent on the daily roll and we have not been notified, we will contact families to ensure that children are still at home. Your assistance will ensure we don’t need to make time consuming or unnecessary phone calls. Children arriving after 9.00am must report to the School Office to obtain a late pass and have their at-tendance adjusted from absent to present. Thank you for your continued support and assistance. PLEASE ensure all current contact details are up to date. Home address, Email addresses, Home Phone Number, Work Phone Numbers, Mobile Phone Numbers.
ROAD SAFETY - (Thank you to all families who are following safe parking practices).
Children should always enter the car from the safety of the curb using the passenger side door.
Children should not walk onto the road to enter the car. Please ensure that children wear seatbelts at all times.
PLEASE do not DOUBLE Park in Widford Street when collecting/dropping off children. Moreland Council have advised they will be issuing parking fines.
A reminder to parents that parents and children should use the crossing in Cromwell St rather than walk out from between parked cars. Your assistance in ensuring your children follow correct safety procedures will help avoid a serious or even a fatal accident.
REMEMBER OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR MOST PRECIOUS GIFT.
Thank you to all families for your cooperation with using the Cromwell St, Widford St and Melbourne Ave Crossings, as well as not double parking in Widford Street. Much appreciated.

Surely you are all God’s helpers; that through you all and your families God, once again proves that He is a God of plenty. We will include in each parcel a few tins to improve each parcel and surely the people receiving them will thank God for His generosity and glorify His Holy Name

Weekly Recap:
Two weeks in before and after school care, we have worked very hard on our "Extend a Hand" pro-gram, Extend-a-Hand is a major social initiative that educates primary school children on the benefits of con-tributing to the wider community. the children learned about extending a hand to our hard-working farmers who have been suffering through one of the worst droughts in living memory. The children wrote very thoughtful letters to the farmers, we posted them last week, I hope these let-ters will bring a bit of joy to our struggling farmers! Next week is looking very exciting as well as we planned a variety of educational and fun activities that the children have requested!
