Preparing for the hot weather With the weather heating up quickly this week we would like to encourage students to bring water bottles to school each day. We would prefer that the children fill the bottles with water. They will be encouraged to refill the bottles throughout the day so they can remain hydrated with the hot weather. Please ensure that your child/children also wear their broad brim hats to school. There are a number children who are not wearing hats while at school, which means they are asked to stay under the shelter areas during play times.

Infants social: Our K-2 children are looking forward to their social which is being held this Thursday evening. If you need to confirm the information regarding the social, please refer to the newsletter and our Facebook page.

Year 2 Intensive Swimming: the two weeks of intensive swimming for our Year 2 students begins next Monday. The growth in skills from the beginning of the two weeks to the end is always so wonderful to see. This is such a wonderful opportunity for the children to improve their swimming ability and become safer while in the water.

Have a great week and try to stay cool, Mrs O’Neill
