WELCOME BACK

Dear families welcome back to Term 4 we hope you had a lovely

school holiday break with family and friends.

Term 4 is always a busy one, with Swimming Lessons, Year 7 Transi-

"on visits, Year 7 Gradua"on , Family Night and Splash day just to

name a few events we have planned.

We will keep you updated via newsle(ers, notes and our Facebook

Page, so please keep your eyes out for these.

Room 16 This term we are learning about the construction of the Joy Baluch AM Bridge Duplication. The students shared their knowledge of the bridge and why there was a need for a new construction. Many students had observed the first stage of building development and were excited to learn how it may look when construction is finished.

Room 16 students have eagerly taken on a Design and Tech-nology challenge to design and build their own bridges from straws and sticky tape. Some students have chosen to work in groups, and others are working independently. Once they have completed their constructions, a competition will be held to determine whose bridge can hold the most weight.
